  • AISCE results March 2018

CBSE Conducted AISCE results March 2018 were declared today (29/5/2018). The School has secured 100% result in X CBSE Board Exam. Rohan Puntambekar stood first by securing 97.4% and stood 4th in the city. Total 171 Students secured First Class in class X.

  • SCIENCE School Result

The School has secured 100% result in XII Science, Commerce and Humanities streams. In Science stream 49 students appeared and Miss Sanya Singh topped the school with 91%.

  • COMMERCE School Result

In the commerce stream 31 students appeared and Miss Janhavi Wadekar topped the school with 88% .

  • HUMANATIES School Result

In the humanities stream 9 students appeared and Miss Aneri Kadushkar topped the school with 91.2%, Overall 26 students have scored more than 80% marks.

  • Vajra World Record

Ms. Janvi Patel of class VI – B has created a new Vajra World Records by performing 900 Side squats in one set at the age of 10 years.

  • Best Principal Award for the year 2017-2018

Mr. Bhavik Parekh, Principal of the school received the “Best Principal Award for the year 2017-2018 for Gujarat Zone Instituted by Science Olympiad foundation. He is also recipient of Dr. S. Radhakrishnan Samman Award 2018 represented on 14th July’18 by Avantika a group of contemporary Artists and Intellectuals.

  • International Maths Olympiad

Dhvanil Dharmesh Gheewala of class X bagged a gold medal and a trophy for securing 2nd position in International Maths Olympiad and also received a cheque of Rs. 5000/- for AES Scholarship from Science Olympiad Foundation.

  • Aptitude test conducted by NIE Times

Ashutosh Choudhary of class IX was declared topper of the school in the aptitude test conducted by NIE Times. He received a Tablet for the same.



Foundation Day was celebrated on 16th April 2018 wherein students performed a prayer dance, recited shloka, sang a parody school song describing the journey of Bright Day School and made a formation showing BDS.


  • World Heritage Day
World Heritage Day was celebrated on 18th April 2018.A special assembly was organised wherein students played different classical instruments and girls performed classical dances. A special pledge was taken in the assembly by the students to protect the heritage of our country. Various activities were conducted and displayed on various topics like Food and Textiles, Paintings and Artefacts, Natural Heritage, Carnatic and Hindustani Music, G. I. Tech, Herbs etc. Students also did ramp walk wearing the traditional costumes of the various states of India.


  • World Book Day
As a part of World Book Day celebration on 23rd April’2018, quiz was conducted for the students of classes V to VII on various books and authors. One school one reading was held for all the students and book review was presented by selected students of classes VIII and IX.


  • International Yoga Day
International Day of Yoga was celebrated on 21st June’2018 in its premises. Around 250 Students from class VII along with teachers marked the day to bring harmony and peace for humanity by getting involved in various yoga activities.The 20 minutes session started with prayer followed by light exercises and yogasans such as ‘Tadasan, Trilokasan, Ardhchakrasan, Kapalbhati, Brammari etc.’ under the guidance of Yogacharya Shri Anil Bharadvaj.


  • Gauri Vrat
Gauri Vrat was observed by girls wherein they turned up in traditional dresses and performed gauri vrat pooja and aarti.


  • Guru Purnima
Guru Purnima was celebrated on 27th July’2018. Students gave a speech on the importance of Guru Purnima and role of the Gurus and Teachers in one’s life. The council members distributed cards to all the teachers, applied tika on their forehead and took blessings from them.



  • Students Council Election

The student’s council plays a significant role in the smooth functioning of every School. To provide hands on experience in the democratic functioning of the country, Students’ Council Elections was held on 29/06/18 wherein the students of classes VI to XII voted through electronic voting. The elected members are as follows.

  • Investiture Ceremony

The students of today are future citizens of tomorrow and therefore Bright Day School CBSE and GSEB Unit-Vasna has provided a platform to the student’s council through Investiture Ceremony. Lt. Cdr Praveen Goswami served in Indian Navy and was commanding officer in Naval NCC unit at Baroda was the Chief Guest. Mr. Saumil Shah, Managing Trustee also graced the occasion at the “Investiture Ceremony” organized at the School Auditorium on 7th July’18, Saturday. The Students Council accepted the badges and sashes proudly and assured the school authorities that they would carry on their responsibilities with dedication and commitment.

  • NCC Camp

As a part of NCC Camp, 9 students of CBSE Unit attended a 10 days camp at Rajpipla from 27/7/2018 to 5/8/2018. Mr. Amit Ghag, our Physical Education teacher also attended the camp as caretaker.



  • Bhaili Farm

Students of class IX were taken to the field trip to Bhaili farm wherein students interacted with the farmers and learnt about the farming techniques and sources of money used for farming etc. It was a hands on experience for the children.

  • Qutubbin Tomb

Students of class XII went to ‘Qutubbin Tomb’ to know the importance of this heritage place of Vadodara. They were taken as a part of celebration of World Heritage Day in the school.


Enhancement Programmes

  • Orientation for Parents

Orientation for parents was conducted on 21st April and 28th April 2018 for classes IX, X and VI respectively. Our Principal, Mr, Bhavik Parekh briefed the parents about the structure of Examination pattern.

  • Strategies of Teaching

A workshop was conducted by Mr. N. K. Sinha for all the teachers on 11th April’2018. He enlightened the teachers on the topic ‘Strategies of Teaching”.

  • Plastics-Demystified

An interactive session was conducted on  25th July’2018 by Mr. Neeraj Kumar on ‘Plastics-Demystified; Use, Abuse and Sustainability’ for the students of class IX.

  • Ms. Amandeep Kaur, Ms. Priya Mishra, Ms. Shilpa Shah. Mr. Mayur Patel, Ms. Dipali Dadhe, Ms. Milina Shukla and Ms. Devanjana attended a workshop on various subjects conducted by Gyan Sarovar Sahodaya on 23/6/18.
  • Ms. Rakhi, Ms. Prerana, Ms. Sonika, Ms. Vandana, Ms. Jayajothi and Ms. Sandhya attended a workshop on various subjects for classes XI and XII conducted by Gyan Sarovar Sahodaya on 28/7/18.
  • Ms. Devanjana attended a workshop on Gender Sensitivity in schools conducted by CBSE on 28/4/2018.
