  • Mr. Bhavik Parekh, the Principal was awarded as the Best District Principal for the Year2014-15 constituted by Science Olympiad Foundation.
  • Our School received British Council’s International School Award Accreditation for the period 2015-18.The award is in recognition of the spirit of internationalism reflected in the school’s academic and co-curricular curriculum.
  • Pragati Tayal of VI-E and Manasi Shah of VIII-A bagged the certificate for the Best Drawing and consolation prize in the Drawing Competition 2014-15 at District Level organized by Art Teacher’s Association Gujarat State.  Teachers Ms. Rupal Desai and Ms. Shilpa Shah also bagged certificates for the best active Art Teacher.
  • Our teachers Ms. Devanjana .B secured 1st runner up position and Ms.Papiya .M secured 2nd runner up position in the Innovative Teaching Competition held on 23rd April’2015 organised by Navrachana University.
  • Devrishi Koul and Pushkar Patel of ClassX were declared city winners in the INTACH India Heritage Quiz held on 14th July’2015. They will now proceed for the zonal round to be held at Ahmedabad.
  • Manav Jani of VIII-A bagged a bronze medal and a cash prize of Rs.1000/- and academic books for getting 3rd rank in the Gujarat State in the International English Olympiad.
  • Krish Mandviya of class –VII and Swar Shah of class-IX got 12th and 19th state rank respectively in the National Cyber Olympiad.
  • Dhananjay Singh of Class-X got 9th state rank in the International Maths Olympiad.

 

EVENTS / CELEBRATIONS
 
  • Our School completed 10 glorious years on 16th April’2015. As a part of  its celebrations, special assembly was organized where in students performed a prayer dance, took a special pledge, highlighted the achievements and presented drum circle and motivational song. Chairman Shri Jayendrabhai, Shah Jt. Managing Trustee, Shri Saumil Shah and Nilpa Madam graced the occasion. All the Class teachers organized various fun filled activities and games for the students on that day and prizes were given to the best student.
 
  • As a part of Earth Day Celebration students participated in Drawing, Poster Making and Slogan Writing activity on 22nd April’2015.
 
  • On 23rd April’15 One School One Reading was organised in the school as a part of World Book Day Celebration.
  • As a part of World Environment Day Celebrations students of Class-V participated in Slogan Writing, Std-VI to VIII in Poster Making and Std-IX to XI in Essay Writing. Skit was performed in the assembly by class VI.
 
  • The Basket Ball Court in the school ground was inaugurated by Jt. Managing Trustee,Shri Saumil Shah on 26th April’2015.
  • Students of Class-VI to VIII Participated in jingle Competition and Std-IX to XI participated in essay writing competition on the theme ‘Harmful effects of Tobacco Use’Organised by CBSE.

 

PROJECTS / ACTIVITIES
 
  1. As a part of S.S Project students of class VI exhibited models of archaeological and literary sources. To show case the ‘Sources of history the students displayed their models on 20th April in the forms of fossils, artifacts, coins, inscriptions and manuscripts.
  2. Students Council Election was held on 6th July’2015 for the Students of Classes VI to XII Students had on experience of electronic voting and elected the best candidate.
 
  • Investiture Ceremony was organised at the Kusum Memorial Hall on the 11th July’2015 for the Students Council. The Students Council accepted the badges and sashes proudly from Jt.Managing Trustee Shri Saumil Shah, Principal and various Sectional Heads. The Council Members took an oath and assured the school authorities that they would carry on their responsibilities with dedication and commitment
 
  • An interactive session was organised on 11th July’15 for Class-V on the topic ‘Solar Energy’ its uses and application. The resource person was Mr. Vihar Pancholi, Director – Maverik.
 
  • Career counselling plays a dynamic and constructive role in preparing individuals for the 21st century. We have taken up regular career counseling sessions for the students of classes XI & XII. The resource persons were Mr. Avadhoot V. Sumant, Advocate, Mr. Nayan Kothari and Ms. Sumedha Mishra.

 

ENHANCEMENT PROGRAM
 
  1. Orientation Programme for the Parents of Classes X, IX and VI was conducted in April’2015 by the Principal Mr. Bhavik Parekh where in the parents were briefed on the ‘Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation’ pattern.
  2. Mr. Maitri Shah and Ms. Gunjan Bharadwaj attended a workshop on Mathematics on 23rd April’2015.The resource person was Ms. Ashalata Badami.
  3. All the English teachers attended a workshop on ‘Innovative Teaching Methodologies’ in English on 27th June’2015. The resource person was Ms. Mala Palani.
 
  1. Mr. Bhavik Parekh, attended a two day conference PLAN on the theme “Saptrangi: Journey in Leadership” from me to we at Dr. Vijaypath Singaniya, school, Pardi, Vapi on 3rd and 4th July’15.
  2. Aone day workshop on ‘Effective techniques in teaching Mathematics’ was organised to commemorate the journey of successful 10 glorious years in the field of education. It was a part of Sahodaya Activity. It was conducted at two different levels. Level I was for classes III – VII, the resource person was Mr. Sreehari, Principal, Sri Sri Ravishankar Vidyalaya, Anand and for Level II, classes were VIII – X the resource person was Mr. Jose Paul an eminent educationist. The workshop witnessed participation of 101 teachers of 30 different CBSE schools from across Central Gujarat. The Chairman of Bright Education Trust Shri Jayendra Shah and the Joint Managing Trustee Shri Saumil Shah also graced the occasion with their presence.
