  • Devrishi Koul and Pushkar Patel of class X bagged the 1st prize in the INTACH Quiz at state level held at Ahmedabad and will now proceed to Delhi for the nationals.

  • Neeraj Pandey of X A stood 2nd and Sai Tanmay Reddy Chakera of X A stood 3rd in the Essay Writing Competition and were felicitated with cash prize. It was organized by the Department of Atomic Energy, Heavy Water Plant.
  • Sneh Mehta of VIII B bagged the Best Actor Award in the Inter School Gaurav Gatha Drama Competition organized by Bal Bhavan held on 14th August,15.
  • Sri Nivas Sarma  of VII,Manav Jani of VIII and Hetu Shah of IX stood 3rd in the Nalanda Expressions Quiz cum Model Making Competition and Kanchi Sharma of VII A bagged consolation prize in the Handwriting Competition organized by Nalanda School.
  • Prathmesh Lasure VI C and Tanishq Naik V A and Bhavya Thakkar of IV B stood 2nd in the D R Amin Inter School Quiz Competition held on 14th August ’15.

  • Kriti Vasudev of XII Com was awarded for the Best Position Paper – ECOFIN in the 5th Navrachana International Model United Nation 2015 held on 4th and 5th September ’15.

  • Patel Shailaja of X A bagged gold medal and Parmar Preksha of X B stood 4th in the Open Sight Air Rifle Championship organized by Vadodara District Rifle Association on 11th and 12th July’ 15. Students of class IX and X participated in the Essay Writing Competition and students of class VI , VII and VIII participated in the Jingle Competition  on the theme ‘ Harmful Effects of Tobacco Use ‘. Essay written by Sanya Singh of X A got selected and the jingle made by the students also got selected at the national level. This competition was organized by CBSE.

    • Following students of classes VIII and IX got selected in the intra school Geeta Chanting Competition organized by Chinmaya Mission. They will now proceed to participate in the next round.
    • Garima Vyas, Shubh Thakkar, Megha Shah, N.Y. Harshita, Anshita Srivastav, Harita Ravi, Nibha Agarwal.
    • Adarsh Srivastava of XB , Mahi Panchal of VIII E, Sharanya Mohanty of VIII D, Vaidehi Khandelwal of VI E and Ananya Upadhyay of VII B got selected for the Regional Writers Workshop. They participated in the online search for excellence in Creative Writing organized by CBSE.
    • Riddhi Maurya of XI Sci was selected to play as an all rounder in the zonal cricket tournament held between 21stto 25th Sept’15 from Vadodara team organized by BCCI.
    • Pushkar Patel of X B and Dwij Bharadwaj of XII Sci were declared 2nd runner up in the RBI Quiz held on 16th Sept’15 organized by Reserve Bank of India.
    • Garima Vyas, Priyanshi Sachan, Ishita Santoki, Vaidehi Raval of IX C and Mrunmayi Wadje of VIII C participated in the state level Basket Ball School Games. Khushi Dekate of VI participated in the state level Table Tennis Tournament and Karuna Mahto of VII participated in Judo organized by District Sports Association.



    • On 7th August’15 students of class VIII presented a computer project on the title “World of Networking” wherein students made various models on LAN, WAN, MAN etc by displaying various examples of FM, Army Base Networking, Movie Ticket Booking, E commerce etc.



    • As a part of Teacher Exchange Programme by British Council Ms Rachel Ingham from our partner school The Halls School, London visited our school between 3rd to 8th August’15.Special assemblies were conducted by the students emphasizing on India and its culture. She conducted various activities on creative writing, art work, dramatization and craft work. She was taken to the various worth visiting places of Vadodara like Laxmi Vilas Palace, Champaner, Fatehsinh Museum etc.
    • To pay tribute to late Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam various activities were conducted by students of classes I to X on 3rd August’15. The activities included poster making, quiz, poem and story writing, bulletin board making and special assembly was conducted wherein students presented his inspirational quotations and stories of his life. Short films on his life were also shown to the students.
    • An awareness program for girls of classes IX to XII was conducted by Gujarat Nari Suraksha Samiti wherein girls were enlightened on their security measures and help lines available for their own protection.
    • On 19th August’ 15, a ‘Career Talk’ was organized for students of class XII. The resource person was Ms. Vandana Talegoankar from Navrachana University. The students also visited a Career Fair on 20th August’15.
    • As a part of health and hygiene program, girls of classes V to VII were briefed on healthy hygiene practices to be adopted by girls and ways to tackle the emotional and physical changes taking place during adolescence. This program was conducted by Procter and Gamble.



    Gauri Vrat Celebration was held on 29th July’15 wherein girls observed fast and came in colourful traditional dress. To keep up the tradition alive special gauri prayers were offered.
    Guru Purnima was celebrated on 31stJuly,15. Students paid respect to the teachers by putting tilak and felicitated each and every teacher with a card. Special assembly was conducted on that day highlighting the importance of guru in one’s life. The Heads lighted a lamp and offered prayers to Guru Swami Vivekanand.
    Independence Day was celebrated on 15th August ’15 wherein the chairman of the school Shri Jayendrabhai Shah hoisted the national flag. Our managing trustee Shri Saumil Shah along with parents graced the occasion.  The cultural program included patriotic song, Jhanda Geet and parody of patriotic song with dance. The whole school ushered in with the feeling of patriotism.
    Sanskrit Day was celebrated on 31st August,15 wherein students of classes IX and X participated in essay writing competition. The students of class IX also played antakshari on shlokas.
    As a part of Hindi Diwas Celebration, various activities like crossword puzzle, story telling and drawing were organized. Assemblies for the month of September were conducted in Hindi which included sharing session on importance of our national language, dramatization and recitation.
    On 4th Sept’15 we celebrated Teacher’s Day. The student teachers of classes VII to XI religiously shouldered their duties by attending and teaching their classes. The management conveyed their best wishes by presenting a special card to each teacher
    Ganesh Chaturthi was celebrated on 19th Sept ’15 with great pomp and fair. The idol of Lord Ganesha was brought on a palanquin from GSEB Unit escorted by our Jt.Managing Trustee Shri Saumil Shah, the heads, teachers and students dancing to the tunes of the drums and leziums. Soon after the aarti , the idol of Lord Ganesh was carried to each and every class to be blessed by His divine presence and finally the idol was taken for immersion.



    • On 25th July various teachers attended a workshop on different subjects like English in AVV School, Science in GPS, S.S in New Era and Hindi in DPS, Kalali and teachers of Class I and II in D R Amin School as a part of Sahodaya Workshop.
    • Ms. Rachana Shah, Headmistress attended a two day workshop on 6th and 7th Aug,15 on co scholastic aspects of CCE at Delhi Public School organized by CBSE. The resource person was Ms. Priyadarshini Kelkar.
    • On 22nd August’15 class teachers of classes I to VI attended a workshop on ‘Multiple Intelligence’ conducted at Bright School as a part of celebrating the completion of 10 glorious years of CBSE Unit. The resource person was Ms. Anahita Lee.
    • Ms. Sonal Desai and Ms. Mansi Jain attended a workshop on 22nd Aug’15 organized at Navrachana School on the topic ‘Life Skills’. The resource person was Ms. Jamila Firdaus.
    • On 12th Sept’15 Mr.Bhavik Parekh, Principal attended a workshop at Ahmedabad on the topic ‘Digital Learning Solution and Google for Education’ in collaboration with Extramarks.
    • Teachers of CBSE and GSEB units attended a workshop cum training session on 19th Sept’15 on the topic ‘Disaster Management’. The resource person was Mr. Dhaval Mehta from Gujarat State Disaster Management Authority.
