  • SCHOOL CHALE HUM
8th June’17 paved a new beginning for the academic year 2017 -18 in The Bright School. This abode of knowledge saw a concurrence of the enthusiastic patrons of learning. These blossoming petals not only looked all excited to unfold newer chapters of learning but gave a sense of completeness to  this temple of knowledge.
 
  • YOG MANTRA : A SYMPHONY OF MIND, BODY & NATURE

Yoga is a way of living that aims towards’ a healthy mind in a healthy body. Yoga helps promote a balanced development of all the three forms physical, mental and spiritual well being.

International Yoga Day is celebrated all over the world on 21st June every year. Bright Day School arranged a special event on the same day to bring awareness among children for yoga and fitness. The healing power of yoga was explained to the children by our yoga experts. Children participated enthusiastically
 
  • STUDENT UNION ELECTION - Std. V to XII
The students of The Bright School tasted a tintch of democracy with the Students Union Council Elections that were held on 30th June’ 2017. The student voters seemed excited to elect their representatives whereas the student – contestants looked nervous about their candidature. A real life scenario was created starting with filling up of candidature forms, campaigning, polling booths and voting machines. The announcement of results made the school premises sway with excitement and cheer. The entire process was carried out under the supervision of the Election Commissioner.
  • INVESTITURE CEREMONY
The investiture ceremony for the newly elected Student Representatives was held on 8th July’ 2017. These diligent council members were conferred with badges & sashes by the chief Guest Dr. Akash Kumra and Jt. Managing Trustee Saumil Sir, thereby instilling a sense of duty & responsibility. The Student Union Council soared high with skills of marching & took an oath to set an example for their fellow school mates by remaining loyal towards their duties.

COMPETITIONS

  • DEBATE - 20th July 2017 (Secondary Section)

The students of class IX (English and Gujarati medium) participated in Debate Competition held on 20TH July2017. The topics given were

1. What brings greater success in Life: Hard work or Intelligence.
2. Which form of democracy is better for India: Parliamentary or Presidential ?
3. Can we wipe out corruption and bribery from our country ?

 
  • DEBATE COMPETITION - PRIMARY SECTION
Debate Competition was conducted on 21st July’ 2017 for Std. VII & VIII to home the oration, debating & reasoning skills of the students. The motto behind this competition is to make students prudent, instill honest opinion, standing for their point & arriving at truth. The debators made commendable efforts to cast an impression with their logical arguments, persuasive statements and a unique blend of wit & humour.

 

CELEBRATIONS

  • GAURI VRAT : A Mode of Divinity
Gauri Vrat Celebration are held every year in the school premises to appraise the efforts of “Little Goddesses” by creating an aura of serenity & divinity. The school management takes utmost care by providing vrat – special foodies to these girls. It is seen as a mode of keeping the tradition alive overall a joyous aura is created as the girls are seen performing worship rituals clad in colourful attires.
