Dhruv Surve of VIII A won Gold Medal in Wrestling. Vedanti Mistry of VIII B won Silver Medal in Kho Kho. Rushirajsinh Maurya of VI A won Gold Medal in Archery.

  1. Spell Bee International

Chennai organized a prize distribution for the year 2016-17.Students who won medals in various categories at State and Regional levels were honoured with trophy, medals, and gift hamper at the function heldon 24.9.17 in the city.Winners are Netra M Gupta II A, Yashvi A Pahilwani II A, Nupur A shah II A, Jiya D Soni II A, Manav Y Patel II B, Kelvin Chokshi III B, Shaurya Shah III B, Yuvraj A  Pahilwani VE, Harshini P Patel VI D , Shardul S Vora VI D, Kirtan D Kharti VI D, Shubham Pandit VII B.

AranavJ Patel of VI B stood out with 3Gold medals at State, National and International Levels along with a Kindle E- Reader and a collection of books.

  1. Patriotic Song Competition

Shyama Shah of VII C won second prize in the Patriotic Song Competition organised by Akhil Bharatiya Sevadal as a tribute to Zaverichand Meghani at Sardarbhavan.



  1. Patriotic Song Competition (Std V & VIII) - 11-08-2017

Wandering through the lanes of the most famous patriotic Songs and indulging in the flavor of patriotism was the “Patriotic Song Competition”. Students sung melodies in different moods and situations invigorating the feeling of patriotism in all. The students were mentored by the music Sir Rohit Goswami.

Bharat Scouts and Guides Rasthrapati Award students of Bright School doing social work at Kanpur village on 6th August.They also went on a  trekking trip  to Motnath Hunuman temple  accompanied by Sir Alexander and 4 other teachers and support staff.


‘Green Gujarat and Clean Gujarat' Campaign

 As a part of state government's 'Connect-to-Nature' an initiative for 'Clean Air, Clean Water and Clean Energy'. Free saplings were distributed to the students from class I to VIII in the school premises by the Department of Forestry. This was towards achieving the target of 10 crore trees for a green cover in the state a step towards tackling the various environmental issues.



  • “Sankalpana”(Std III and IV) - 10.08.2017

“Sankalpana” was an attempt by students of Std III and IV to ignite patriotism as a part of the 71st Independence Day Celebration. The program featured performances on the theme of sacrifice, brotherhood, unity in diversity and harmony. It was an effort to bring out the latent pride that we all are Indians.

  • “JaiGovind” (Std I and II) - 12.08.2017

On the occasion of Janamastmi celebration students of Std I and II performed“Jai Govind” a Dance Drama. The presentation was based on the life of lord Krishna portrayed through various songs and skit.All children came in traditional dresses. Beautiful decorations were put up to make this event more cheerful and colorful. A ‘Matki Phod’ event was also organized to mark the mischievous nature of ‘Bal Gopal’.

  • Ganesh Chaturthi Celebration - 24.08.2017

Ganpati Bappa Morya!!!Continuing with our annual tradition of celebration of Ganesh Chaturthi Lord Ganesha’s idol was brought in a procession by the students dressed in traditional and colourful attire with a lot of zeal; Ganesh Sthapana was followed by pooja and aarti .On the final day the statue of Lord Ganesha was taken out in a colourful and vibrant procession before proceeding for Visargan. A special assembly was conducted on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. The assembly commenced with a melodious invocation, the Ganesh Vandana by the prayer students. Students from various classes spoke about the festival, and its significance.

  • Teacher’s Day Celebration - 05.09.2017

“An invocation to all the gurus” A program was conducted to celebrate this day. Students took active participation in it they played the role of various teachers, the teachers expressed their experiences in the profession, an entertainment program of song and game was held. Madam Shobha Rajpurohit the principal who was also present on the occasion called for commitment and dedication from her team. The session ended with a short inspirational clipping on ‘The Role of a Teacher’ and refreshments.

  • Navratri - 27.09.2017

Bright school celebrated Navratri with great joy and vigour. Students from preschoolto VIII took part in it. Students and teachers came in traditional dressesIt was a colorful show with teachers joining the students enthusiastically in their dance to the accompaniment of traditional garba songs. The programme was managed and executed by Madam Shobha Rajpurohit with coordination of all teachers and other school staff members.



  • Talk on Dental Care (Std III) - 21.09.2017

Personal Hygiene is the first step to good grooming and health. Students were given a talk and Power Point Presentation on how to maintain good oral hygiene, in an effort to inculcate good dental care habits early in life.  A team of dentists consisting ofGold Medalist  Dr.Neelam Joshi  MDS , and her team members Dr. Manal, Dr. Kajal and Dr Ekta The students were given tips on the right technique of brushing to keep their mouth, teeth and gums healthy. Children were also advised to limit sugary and sticky foods and drinks to protect against tooth decay.
