  • UCMAS - G1 Category
Riddhima Behal of III A stood 3rd runner Up in G1 category UCMAS. She was awarded a trophy.
  • UCMAS - E1 Category
Netra gupta of III A won a Champions Award for flash calculation,1st Runner Up Award for Listening Calculation and E1 Category  of UCMAS she was awarded trophies for the same.
  • Quest Aptitude Olympiad
Ashmay Paanchbhave of VC stood fifth in The Quest Aptitude Olympiad All India Inter School Round 2017-18. He won a gift set and a trophy along with a certificate.
  • UCMAS - Eight Level
Janvi Saidane and Ronak Merani of VII B won certificate of Graduation for successfully completing all eight levels of UCMAS.
  • Poster Making Competition
Kushi Shah of VIIB was declared the Winner and Gopi Luhar also of VII B was the Runner Up in Poster Making Competition at Science Carnival organised by JCI Baroda metropolitan. She was awarded a trophy and a certificate by shri Rajendra Trivedi Minister for sports at a function held on 28th july.

SCHOOL REOPENING DAY : Std II to VIII on 11th June 2018, Std I on 12th June 2018

The Academic year started on 11th June with a promise of self-growth, to achieve success. Enthusiastic students came cheerfully to start another brilliant year. They were welcomed by Principal Madam Shobha, their class teachers. A special assembly was conducted by the teachers in order to welcome their children after long summer vacation. The students were acquainted with the general rules of the school. They were motivated with a speech for happy, prosperous and a successful year ahead.



International Yoga Day was celebrated at Bright School to enhance the focus on memory, productivity, teamwork and communication; all a part of everyday students life. The motto was “Perfect control over Mind, Body and Soul”. A yoga session was conducted by volunteers  from Yogniketan, Vadodara.

  • Students Union Election : 6th July 2018

Annual School Election is a great opportunity for students to exercise student’s rights. Students were nominated for the positions of Head Boy, Head girl and School Captain on the basis of discipline, academics and conduct so that they can be role models to their fellow schoolmates. Electronic Voting took place through Secret Ballot in which approximately 1000 students of class V- VIII voted.  Elected members are Jill More of Std VIII Bas School Captain, Aastha Panchal of VIII B as Head Girl and Shubham Pandit of VIII B as Head Boy.

  • Students’ Investiture Ceremony : 14th July, 2018

Investiture Ceremony was held in the school. The event was presided over by the Mr. Mukesh Patel, Principal Secondary Sec, Mr. Nilesh Engineer Incharge Secondary Sec, and Madam Kalpana Panchal Head Mistress Bright Play Centre. Principal Madam Shobha Rajpurohit was also present. It was conducted with the high degree of sincerity and enthusiasm. The Investiture ceremony denotes the trust and confidence we repose in newly invested student leaders for their involvement in day today functioning of the school. Students were all excited to don the mantle of leadership and discharge the responsibilities entrusted upon them by the school.The newly elected members received their badges & took the pledge to abide by the school’s motto.



  • Good Manners and Habits : 30th June 2018, Faculty :- Ms. Devlina Behal

Discipline, manners and good habits play a vital role in a child’s development. Students of Std I  were given a talk and a Power Point Presentation on good manners and habits by Ms. Devlina to instill courtesy, politeness, honesty and other essential virtues for an overall development of students.


  • Road Safety : 28nd July 2018

Road safety is an emerging challenge to create knowledge on traffic rules and road safety  for class VII students  by Mr. Jasvantsinh Yadav from Vadodara City Traffic Police .This interactive  session had videos and a PPT presentation to sensitize students  about the rules to be followed while riding bicycles and being on road.



  • Handwriting Competition for Std : I and II on 21th July 2018

Skill of writing is a very important part of education. A good writing helps students to attain higher level of academic achievement. The handwriting competition is an attempt by the school to see that students develop a legible handwriting.

Winners :-

Std I :- 1st Position Jiya Damor (I C), 2nd Position  Vaishnavi Desai (I C), 3rd Position: Khushi Modi (I A)

  • Memory Masters Competition for Std: III and IV on 21th July 2018

Mind games help in learning new things and to keep the memory sharp. As an effort to achieve this, memory master competition was organised.Where the students were shown 20 objects, then students had to recall and write the name of the objects shown in the given time.

Winners :-

Std III :- 1stPosition - Freya Dave (III C), 2nd Position - Riddhi Shah (III C), 3rd Position - Jeeya Bhavsar (III B) and Yashvi Pahilwani (III A).

Std IV :- 1st Position - Kavya Patel (IV B), 2nd Position - Dhurv Joshi (IV C), 3rd Position - Henil Shah (IV A) and Kevin Choksi (IV B).



  • Handwriting Competition for Std : I and II on 21th July 2018

Amrut Kalash Mahotsav an initiation by Shri Kalyanrayji Sarvajanik Charitable Trust under the mentorship of Shri Dwarkeshlalji  Maharaj  is a project to save water ‘An Essential Resource’.  Students were sensitized about the need to conserve water in all possible ways.  Students of class VI to VIII took part in this seminar. The session ended with students taking an oath to conserve waterand making every precious drop count!!!!
