COMPETITION

  • Chart Making - 13th August 2021

The competition  of chart making was conducted. The students participated whole heartedly. The winners were :

Ms. Siya H. Balwani (X B), She made a chart on the Festivals of India.

Master  Krishna R Naik (IX B), he prepared a chart on  Achievements of India in Space Science.

  • Song Competition - 24th August 2021

On 125th Birth Anniversary of Mr Zaverchand Meghani, the National poet, a competition of the songs written by him was organised. It is a matter of immense pleasure that Bhavya Sachin Mandalia  ( 9 A ) of our school has received 3rd position at QDC level.

  • Patriotic Song Competition - 2nd September 2021

The first round  of the patriotic songs was  already conducted online. The shortlisted students were called to the school physically for the final round. The school followed the guidelines of SOP and  written consent of the parents of the semifinalists was taken.

The whole programme was conducted with social distance and discipline. All songs were accompanied by the musical instruments. The winners were : Ms Shifa Naaz Saiyad (XI  C)- first, Ms Jiya Parikh  (X D) - second. and Ms Shreeja Sinha  (IX D) -  third. Ms. Taskin Shekh received a consolation prize.

  • Mallakhamb Competition - 18st September 2021

Master Jinkal Barot (X A) participated in Mallakhamb organised by Mallakhamb Federation of India held at Laxminath Vyayam Mandir.He secured 5th position in  event &  selected for National Level in Ujjain  which will be  on 27th September, 2021.

  • TECSO Competition - 23rd September 2021

TecSo Global Vadodara arranged an online competition of Essay Writing in Hindi to celebrate the Hindi Day on 14th September.It is a matter of pride that Ms Hetvi Patel of IX B  from non -granted   section stood first. She got the cash prize of Rs 1500.

 

EVENTS

  • First Aid - 7th August 2021

An online session for basic life skills was organised by Gujarat Government. A detailed explanation was given on the First Aid and other primary steps. The programme was attended by the students as well as teachers.

 

CELEBRATIONS

  • Rakshabandhan

Rakshabandhan is a traditional Indian festival celebrated with a noble intention of protection. This year our section celebrated in a different way. The soldiers protecting our strategic locations and border were sent  ' rakhi '. Like this, the prayer was offered to the Almighty for the protection of them as well as the country.

  • Independence Day

In order to cultivate the patriotic spirit among the students, 75th Independence Day was celebrated with pomp and enthusiasm. The students were instructed to express their ideas in the form of pictures, songs or dance. The idea got good response.

  • Janmastami Day

Janmashtami was celebrated online. The students were requested to draw a picture on any life event of Lord Krishna and submit it online. This was an opportunity to bring out a hidden talent of  the students.

  • Teacher's Day

The School celebrated the teacher's day in online as well as offline mode. The  selected students were  volunterily called to the school alongwith the parents' written consent as per SOP, and given the duty to teach online. They were given different subjects and they taught interestingly. Other option was also given to the students. They were requested to share their feelings for the teachers online. They wrote different messages and acknowledged  the contribution of the teachers in their life.

  • Ganesh Chaturthi

Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated throughout the country with the pomp and enthusiasm. The idol of Lord Ganesh is installed and worshipped.

Along with the celebration of Lord Ganesh  festival like every year in a traditional way, this year the students were said to draw the pictures of this Elephant God and upload on the Google Classroom.

 

WORKSHOPS

  • Ayush Awareness - 29th September 2021

As a part of AYUSH AWARENESS ,a presentation was kept by the representative of the Pioneer Homeopathic Medical College and Hospital. It was attended by the offline as well as the online students.
