  • Folk Dance & Folk Orchestra Competition
Aesha Dharsandiya S (IX-E) Participated in Folk Dance & Folk Orchestra Competition at International Level held at Georgia.  She stood at 1st rank & received two Trophies, Certificates and two Medals.
 
  • Gujarat State Junior Badminton Championship-2017
Aditya Kadam (XII-D) Participated in Gujarat State Junior Badminton Championship-2017 at Atul Club, Valsad. He stood at 3rd place in Boys Doubles (U-19) Event.

 

SCHOOL REOPENING DAY : 5th June 2017

5th June 2017 was the beginning of a new academic term. As the school resumed after the summer break, the students looked excited with new hopes and resolutions. There was an orientation session for the students of secondary section. The session was conducted by respective class teachers. Teachers explained about FA System. Local channels covered the first day events.

 

COMPETITIONS

  • Essay Writing - Std IX on 17th June 2017
Essay writing helps students improve their writing skills and have good command on spellings and grammar, resulting in improved English skills better results in the subject paper. To meet these objectives ‘Bright Day School’ organised ‘Essay Writing’ Competition on 17th July, 2017.
 
  • Naveet Drawing Competition
The students of Secondary Section (Bright Day School) Participated in ‘A Drawing Competition’ Organized by Navneet on 15th July 2017. The theme of the competition was ‘My Dream, Effects of Global Warming, and Pride India Movement. The students zestfully Participated in the Competition.

 

EVENTS

  • International Yoga Day - 21st June 2017
The United Nations General Assembly declared 21st June as the International Day Yoga Day. Research has proved that regular Yoga assists an individual in finding relief from stress, creates harmony in society and develops body and mind for better health. To create awareness for regular practice of Yoga and Asanas, the International Yoga Day is of great importance.

Bright Day School celebrated International Yoga Day on their premises. As part of the celebrations, students and teachers voluntarily performed Asanas. To in still the habit of practising ‘Yoga’ for a healthy living; the students were led through simple ‘Breathing & Stretching’ exercises and Basic Asanas. The importance of ‘meditation’ in yoga was also explained to the tiny tots during the morning assemblies.

 

  • Canvassing of Student Union leaders - 4th July 2017

Bright Day School organised ‘Student Union Election’ Students from different divisions of Std IX were selected for different posts such as ‘Head Boy, Head Girl, Science Captain, Sports Captain, Cultural Captain. They had different symbols related to their posts. All selected members canvassed at different places like divisions of IX, near the school lobby, school premises etc. Students really enjoyed and gave positive responses.

 

  • Student Union Election - 5th July 2017

India is a democratic country. It is our duty to vote for the right electoral candidate. It is necessary to help students understand the importance of elections positively.  So Bright Day School Organised a ‘Student Union Election’ for the year 2017-18 for the students of std- IX in School Premises. They had different categories such as ‘Head Boy, Head Girl, Science Captain, Sports Captain, Cultural Capta in etc. Regarding different posts, all union members had made their own symbols. Students really enjoyed electronic election system and have learned something positively.

 

 

  • Students’ Investiture Ceremony - 15th July, 2017

Investiture Ceremony held on 15th July 2017. The elected members were felicitated by the Hon. Chief Guests Mr. Nilesh Engineer (In Charge Of Higher Secondary Section) & Our Ms. Shobha Rajpurohit (Principal of Primary Section).

 

  • Mission Million Trees

Children are the best source for spreading awareness as they are the future citizens of tomorrow. The Objective of the Programme is to nurture the young minds and inspire them to make green a way of life.   Due to such objective, On 18th July 2017 Mission Million Trees event is organised by Vadodara Mahanagar Palika at Gandhinagr Gruh, Vadodara . It is inaugurated by our Educational Minister Shree Bhupendrabhai Chudasama, Shree Rajendra Trivedi and Shree Bharatbhai Dangar (Mayor, Vadodara).
