COMPETITION

  • Edutor App - Quiz

The Government appealed the teachers to make the Quiz on the life events of Sardar Patel. Accordingly Mr Milind Majmudar, the Supervisor made the quiz on an app Edutor. He was awarded the certificate for this.

  • Essay Writing Competition

A competition was kept on the subject - ' Cleanliness is next to Godliness '. A few students participated in it. The  essay  written by Ms Vidyanshi Sharma std 9th D was selected.

 

EVENTS

  • National Achievement Survey

It was a matter of immense pleasure and pride that our school was selected for the National Achievement Survey. The school was kept open on 10/11 & 11/11 for the guidence to the students and on 12/11 the survey was conducted by the Government representatives.

  • Amrit Mahotsav

As a part of the Amrit Mahotsav of the Independence, the government appealed to celebrate Cleanliness Programme in every school during 1st October to 31st October.

Shri J R Shah Bright Day School always takes initiative whenever an opportunity appears to cultivate the positive values in the students. The school organised various programmes to bring awareness of the cleanliness among the students.

In the school assembly the Principal Ms Nina Shukla, the Supervisor Mr Milind Majmudar and other teachers explained the importance of the cleanliness. Even during the teaching sessions also the teachers included this point.

 

CELEBRATIONS

  • Navratri

Navratri is one of the most traditional festivals of Gujarat. This year our school decided to celebrate the festival  under the frame of the Government' s guidelines. The students came according to the SOP and celebrated this festival.Bright school organized navratri celebration on 9 th October during school hours. The celebration started by offering prayers to goddess Navdurga and than performing the traditional dance form garba. All the students, teachers and staff members were in traditional attire. The day was  celebrated  with joy and devotion.

  • Diwali

The school planned to celebrate this festival of lights in a traditional way. The students were called in a traditional dress to make the things like Diya candle Stand,Lanterns, Diwali Toran,Lampshades Diwali Coasters,Diya, hanging, Room decorating items and other decorative items.

They enjoyed this art. Their work was observed and appreciated  by Ms Shairvi Bhayani , the joint Director of our school.
