It is a matter of great pride and laurel for Bright School, where some of our achievers have made their names by winning in different competitions.

Ambalal Park - Karelibaug

Rajvee Deesawala of Std. IV E has participated in the exhibition organised by VENUS ACADEMY OF FINEARTS and received a medal and a Diploma degree.

Navneet Publication organized a competition in which students from I to VIII participated and Mahi C. Shah of II A received a mega prize.

Britannia organized a G.K. quiz in which 33 students participated and from them 5 students won the Gold medals and will proceed for II phase.

Dhurva Pandya of VI B won 1st prize in Classical Dance organized by Hotel Dash Continental.

JCI Baroda Metropolitan organized a drawing competition where thirty students participated from Bright school and the following students won prizes.

Lions Club International organized a programme wherein 27 schools participated and various teachers presented their talents. Ms. Surekha Pancholi was selected as the best teachers and was given “Swapna Shilpi” certificate by Shri Jay Narayan Vyas. The district governor Mr. Jayesh Dalal also graced the occasion by his presence.

Miss Mauli G. Tilokani of Sr. KG. – B won the “SUPER KID” trophy with her innocence and gracefulness on 1st September 2013 in an event “SUPER KIDS & SUPER MOMS” organized by Dash Continental. We are proud of you and wish you the grand success ahead.
Miss Saanvi A. Shah of Jr. KG. E won “SUPER KID” prize on 4th August 2013, in the event “MOM & ME” organized by Aspen Honda and Divya Bhaskar under the supervision of Blue Event Management. We are proud of our little Brightian and we wish a grand success in the Road Map of her journey.

 

Primary Section

Dainik  Bhaskar organized Brain Hunt competition in which newspaper of 12pages pertaining various competitions like My Imagination, To design the wedding invitation card of a mouse and elephant etc... Students from std  I to VIII participated, out of which 7 students at state level and two students at national level were honoured with certificates and trophys.

Group of 8 students from Std VIII & IX participated, won second position and were awarded with elegant trophy along with certificate. Stuti A Shah from Std VII-B participated and won first position at city level. Ketul V Patel from Std VIII-A was given consolation award. Both were honoured with books and certificates.

 

Secondary Section

Shah Prima K  (9-A Gujrati Medium) participated in  Debate Competition held on 1st August, 2013 organised by Akhil Bhartiya Sevadal and she got 2nd position. She received a Certificate Trophy and a set of three books.

Dadhich Neel S of IX-A participated in 4th ‘Independence National Open Karate Championship & South Asia Open Karate Championship held on 18th August, 2013. He stood 1st in Teamkata & secured Gold Medal.

Jinger Dhruv of 10-A participated in ‘Kushti’ U-17 on 16th August, 2013 organised by Narayan Guru Akhada. He stood 2nd at the District Level. He also participated in ‘Judo Championship’ held at ONGC school on 23rd August, 2013 and he got 1st position at District Level’.

 

Vasna Unit (CBSE)

Manav Jani of class VI A was the winner of the title “Sandesh Student of the Year - 2013”. He received a trophy, a certificate and a cash prize of Rs. 25000/-. He stood 1st in the city round and represented Vadodara in the grand finale. The Quiz Contest was organised by Sandesh and Apple Woods for students from class VI to VIII. More than 8000 students from Gujarat participated.

Akshansh Singh of class XI-Comwas declared “Man of the Series” in the recently concluded ‘Inter School Coca Cola Cricket Cup’. The tournament was conducted by Baroda Cricket Association (BCA) where 43 schools participated. He was awarded a Trophy.

Suyash Dixit of class IX, Dwij Bharadwaj of class X, Nidhi Banda of class   XI–Sci. and Social Science teacher Mr. Manish Engineer were declared the winner of the “Annual Inter-School Quiz” organised by Association of British Scholars (ABS) and Bright Day School. This is a hat-trick victory for them. 18 Schools from Vadodara participated in the quiz by Dr. Subroto Das.
