Hiteshree Gaur of Std IX bagged the Gold Medal, and the Best Delegate award for securing the 1st position in Lok Sabha committee in India's International Movement to unite Nations, I.I.M.U.N, organized by Indian International Committee, Mumbai. She also won the 1st prize & was awarded a trophy & a certificate for the Best delegate award in Lok Sabha Committee, Global Glenings model united nations.
Mann Shah and Kushan Kenth of Std IX were the regional winners in CBSE Science Exhibition. Their project was 'Waste to Watts- A Step Towards Sustainable Future' under the theme 'Resource Management'. They participated at National level held at Haryana. The project was mentored by Ms.Laxmi Sagar, PGT- Physics.
Manav Rojesar & Henil Patel of Std. IX received certificate & a trophy in Science/Maths exhibition held at Vadodara Institute of Engineering. They were mentored by Ms. Madhushree.
Shlok Patel of Std VII and Har Pancholi of Std VI secured the first position in Inter-School Heritage Quiz organised by Bal Bhavan. They received a medal and a trophy for the same. Shlok Patel of Std. VII has bagged the 2nd position in Chess Championship U-14 Khelmahakumbh District level & qualified for the State level. He also baged the 1st Runner Up certificate in the Astrive School Chess Championship held at Sama Sports Complex.
Daksh Tilwani of Std. VIII bagged a trophy in U-14 boys singles championship in Tennis premier league. He has also bagged a trophy & a certificate in All India Tennis Championship series in doubles & runner up in singles organised by Altevol Tennis Academy Ahmedabad. He also secured 2nd position in Khel Mahakumbh District level U-14 Boys in Lawn Tennis.
Risheet Pandya of Std. V secured the 3rd position & received a cash prize in Khelmahakumbh Chess Championship at District level. He also participated in Children’s research university U-11 Chess Competition held on 1st December 2024 at Science City, Ahmedabad & won a cash prize.
Brightians - Girls and Boys U-17 Kho-Kho won the 2nd place at Zone level & qualified for District level in Khelmahakumbh. They were mentored by Ms. Swati Bhole.

Kavya Shah of Std. IX secured the 2nd rank in Lawn Tennis U-17 category & 5th rank in Open age in Khelmahakumbh.
Jahavi Patel, Swara Diwane, Rudrita Pandya, Kashvi Khara, Radhika Gasdhavi, Dhvijal Rana, Aditi Chauhan & Shriya Trivedi of Std. VIII bagged the 1st position at Zone level U-14 Girls Volleyball in Khelmahakumbh. They were mentored by Ms. Sonal Bhalodia.
Keshvi Patel & Jiaan Patel of Std. IV & Nakshit Prajapati of Std. I U-11 bagged the 1st, 2nd & 3rd position respectively in standing jump in Khelmahakumbh.
Rutva Pandya of Std. VIII bagged the 2nd position in 200 m & 3rd in 400 m Running race U-17 in Khelmahakumbh.
Preet Desai of Std. IX secured the 1st position in Chess in Khel Mahakumbh at District level. He also secured the 2nd position & a trophy in Gujarat Interschool Chess Championship.
Adwait Pathak of Std. VIII secured position in top 5 players in Badminton Khelmahakumbh & qualified for State level. He also bagged a trophy in U-15 Boys Singles Bhalawala Badminton Championship organised by Sayaji Vihar Club. He also bagged trophies & medals in Astrive School Badminton Championship and was winner in U-15 Boys Doubles, Runnerup in U-19 Boys Single organised at Sama Sports Complex.
Hashvi Vyas of Std VI received the first position in Christmas Cup Badminton Tournament held at BFA sports complex. She received a medal and a trophy.
Ayamatma Panda of Std. V has successfully completed 1st to 4th level of Abacus Mental Arithmetic Junior programm & received a certificate for the same.
Jayditya Panchal of Std. IV bagged a medal for securing the 2nd position in Cyclothon organised by Decathlon, Vadodara.
Akshara Pilolwala of Std. IX bagged a Silver Medal in Physicswalla NSAT 2024 organised by Physicswalla.
Varun Khanani of Std. IX C & Dhruv Thorat of Std. VIII participated in Inter School Science Quiz organised by Bal Bhavan Society. They received a participation certificate.

Arya Shardul of Std. VI bagged the 1st position in sit & draw competition ‘ANKAH 2025’ organized by East West Cultural Association held at Kamatibaugh, Vadodara. He received a certificate & a trophy.
Vivaan Pathak of Std. VII bagged the 1st position & received a winning trophy in Break Dance Competition organised at IIRA International School.
Heyaan Parikh of Std. III has completed the basic level of UCMAS & secured 97%. He has received a certificate for the same.
Jayitri Patel, Riva Unadkat of Std. III & Devanshi Parmar of Std. VI received a certificate for completing the basic level in UCMAS.

Yash Barbhaiya of Std. VIII has received 2 Gold Medals, Dev Parmar of Std. IX has bagged a trophy for 1st position as Best Kata player, Dhanashri Thakkar of Std. II bagged a Medal & a trophy, Shreyan Bluva & Devam Patel of Std. II has bagged a certificate for 3rd position & received a Bronze Medal & a certificate in Royal Karate Cup held at Sama Sports Complex.
Annual Concert - 'HARMONY'
Bright Day School, CBSE Unit, Near Gada Circle, celebrated the Annual Concert of the students of Std. I and II titled ‘Harmony' in Shri J R Shah Auditorium on 28th December, 2024. The event was set into motion by welcoming the Chairman, Dr. Simit Shah and Directress, Ms. Swara Shah and thanking them profoundly for gracing the occasion with their eminent presence. The heads of school and parents were also warmly welcomed. The Principal Ms. Neeta Sharma presented the School Report highlighting the school’s and students' achievements.
Brightians adorned in the most vibrant and colourful costumes, set the stage ablaze with electrifying dance performances. Their steps synchronized perfectly to the beats of the music, creating a harmonious spectacle. The programme began on a divine note with the Prayer dance performance invoking the blessings of Lord Ganesha, the protector and the remover of obstacles. Following this, the dance performance ‘Dil Ziddi Hein...' celebrated the indomitable spirit of the human mind in the face of challenges.
The next dance performance 'Tanhaji' - the fearless warrior of the Maratha Empire, captured the essence of courage and devotion. The ‘Fusion’ dance left the audience spellbound with its seamless blend of Indian classical and western dance. Moving forward, the ‘Aag Agni...' dance symbolized the spark within us that drives us to achieve our goals and pursue our passions. The ‘Kon Halave Limdi...’ dance beautifully depicted the timeless bond between brothers and sisters, over time and distance. ‘Jhoome Re Gori...' a Gujarati marvel, had the audience grooving to its lively beats. The next dance ‘Singham' - the warrior and the protector of justice; was power-packed with action and adventure.
The grand finale, 'Dholida - Saiyyar Mari Saiyyar...,’ left the audience captivated and enthralled. The event concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks. All dances were masterfully choreographed by our choreographers, Mr Jimish Chaudhary and Ms Vaishali Bane, contributing to the event’s grand success with 100% participation from the students. The performances were met with immense praise from the parents.
Annual Sports Meet
Bright Day School, CBSE Unit, Near Gada Circle, celebrated the Annual Sports Meet for the students of Std. I to XII on 21st and 22nd January 2025. The event was graced by the Chairman Dr. Simit Shah, Directress Ms. Swara Shah, Principal Ms. Neeta Sharma, Heads of School, parents and students. The Chief Guest on 21st January was Mr. Nayan Mongia, the Former Indian cricketer and coach.
The event commenced by invoking the blessings of God. Brightians proudly held their heads high in the March Past, a parade requiring great discipline, coordination and unity. Brightians paraded with precision and grace holding the school and house flags making our hearts swell with pride. The torch-lighting ceremony witnessed the national level champions of our school carrying the torch with pride; its flame symbolizing peace, friendship and the enduring spirit of the competition. In the oath-taking ceremony, participants pledged to demonstrate true sportsman spirit and to play fair with the competitors participating in the event. The Chief Guest, Mr.Nayan Mongia and our Chairman Dr Simit Shah, released the balloons and declared the Sports Meet open.
The most awaited event of the day - the drills - marked the commencement of the Sports Meet. Brightians enthusiastically performed various drills, including the Flag Drill, Lazium Drill, Ring Drill, Ribbon Drill, Karate, Pyramid and Lathi - all of which were spectacular sights to behold. The drills showcased intricate movements, synchronized steps and impressive formations. The students moved in unison, with each step taken in perfect synchronization with the others, creating a mesmerizing display of teamwork and discipline. The track and field events showcased a plethora of engaging races, including the Running Race, Zig Zag Race, Pick up and Drop Ball, Racket and Ball Balancing Race, Sack Race, Shuttle Run Race, Potato Race, Lemon and Spoon Race, Rabbit Race, Basketball Throw and Mix Relay Race, each, designed for different grades. The participants demonstrated great enthusiasm and energy as they competed in these events.
The winners of various sports events were honoured with medals, celebrating their achievements. The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks. The Annual Sports Meet was a resounding success. Parents enjoyed the event immensely and commended the school for its excellent organization. The school management sincerely appreciates and acknowledges the dedication and efforts of the Physical Education teachers - Ms Chitra Gavli, Mr Nitin Gohil, Ms Swati Bhole, Ms Sonal Bhalodia, Mr Himanshu Rawal and Mr Sagar Ligade.
Republic Day Celebration
Every year on 26th January the nation celebrates the Republic Day to mark the day our constitution came into force. Bright Day School, CBSE Unit, Near Gada Circle, celebrated the 76th Republic Day with a feeling of pride, patriotism and unity. The celebration was set into motion with the welcome note. The Directress, Ms Swara Shah, Unit Heads of Bright Group of Schools, members of staff, parents and students were warmly welcomed. Our honourable Directress, Ms Swara Shah, escorted by the school Principal, Ms Neeta Sharma, unfurled the National Flag - a symbolic representation of India’s sovereignty, unity and integrity. Everyone sang the National Anthem and the Jhanda Geet ‘Vijayi Vishwa Tiranga Pyara...’. The Principal - Ms Neeta Sharma addressed the gathering. By referring to the students as future leaders, she encouraged them to respect the nation, abide by the law, and work towards the betterment of the country. She further advised them to uphold the values enshrined in our constitution. She urged the teachers and parents to collaborate to help Brightians understand and appreciate the sacrifices made by our leaders and freedom fighters, to explain the significance of the constitution and their rights and responsibilities as citizens, emphasize the importance of being active and responsible citizens and reinforce the value of truthfulness and ethical behaviour. Our music teacher, Mr Rajiv Dashputre, sang a beautiful patriotic rendition 'Desh se hein pyar...' in his soulful voice, further igniting the spirit of patriotism. The National Song ‘Vande Mataram’ was sung. The event concluded by proposing the Vote of Thanks.
Short reads Pilot programme was conducted by Bright Day School, CBSE Harni from 19th Nov. 2024 to 07th Jan 2025 for the students of Std. III. It was conducted to improve the vocabulary, comprehension, to build interest among learners, to develop creativity, higher order thinking & confidence.
On 07/12/2024, Bright Day School, Harni organized a webinar on Phonics to enhance reading & pronunciation skills. Led by Ms. Janet Shah, the session focused on teaching phonics through sound letter associations and blending techniques. The webinar was informative & well received contributing significantly to language development in our school.
