Darshan Vichare of Std. VIII secured the 1st place and Madhav Shah of Std. VIII secured the 2nd place in Khel Mahakumbh shot put (Athletics) in the U-14 Boys’ category at the Zonal level.
Kishan Patel of Std. VIII secured the 3rd place in 100 and 200 m Khel Mahakumbh Running Race (Athletics) in U-14 Boys’ category at the Zonal level & District level.
Anshumaan Das of Std. VIII has been awarded with grade of honorary 2nd NI Dan by Karate India Organization in recognition of his achievement in Karate-Do and received a certificate and a trophy for the same.
Ayaan Gangwani of Std. IV and Mahek Gangwani of Std. VII have bagged a trophy by Shotokan International Karate Do Organization for outstanding performance.

Rutva Pandya of Std. VII received Bronze medals in 1000 m Rink Race and 4000 m Mixed Relay Race each in the 61st National Roller Skating Competition organized by RSFI in Chennai.
7th Chhatra Sansad Leadership Conclave 2023
Rutvi Gohil of Std. XI and Aarisha Singh of Std. IX secured the 1st position in the 'Greenovation' Spectrum event organized at Bright Day School, CBSE Unit, Vasna and bagged certificates and trophies for the same. They also got the wonderful opportunity of participating in the 7th Chhatra Sansad Leadership Conclave 2023 by displaying their innovative project 'Greenovation' to an august audience, the likes of which included the honourable Chairman - ISRO, Dr. S. Somnath who found their ideas innovative and praised them for the same. The students were mentored by our science teacher Ms. Geetanjali Tandel.

Shitoryu - Shotokan National Karate Championship
Chitra Shah of Std. V, with 1 Gold and 1 Silver medal; Akshat Modi and Aryaman Chauhan of Std. VII, with 1 Gold and 1 Silver medal each; Dev Parmar of Std. VIII, with 2 Gold medals; Devarshi Shah of Std. IX with 2 Gold medals and Arya Saraf of Std. X, with 1 Gold and 1 Silver medal made the school immensely proud by bagging the Best Kata Player trophies at the individual level and winning the Team Champion Kata trophy at the group level in the Shitoryu - Shotokan National Karate Championship under the able guidance of their mentor and our Karate teacher, Kyoshi Mahesh Raval. Apart from the above mentioned students, approximately 200-250 students of our school won gold, silver and bronze medals in the competition.

Jinay Shah of Std. IX received Certificate of Merit in the All-India Sea Swimming Competition held on 6th and 7th January at Porbandar for a distance of 1 km in the age category of 14-30 years. He covered the distance in 30 minutes 49 seconds and secured the 44th rank in his age category and 57th rank at the National level.
Darshit Sheth of Std. V received a Diploma of Distinction for participating in 11th Bharat’s Unique Kite Painting Exhibition on ‘Pavitra Gau Mata’ from 7th to 9th January organized by Venus Academy of Fine Arts.
Krisha Shah of Std. VII bagged a shield, trophies and Certificates of Excellence for performing the classical dance Bharatnatyam in the Thailand International Folklore Festival 2023. 919 International artist delegations from 22 countries participated in the event.

Khel Mahakumbh Tennis Championship State level in the U-14 Boys
Daksh Tilwani of Std. VII secured the Singles Winner and Doubles Winner positions in the U-14 Boys’ Tennis event organized by the All India Tennis Association in Rajkot and received a Certificate of Merit and shields for the same. He has also been selected for the Khel Mahakumbh Tennis Championship at the State level in the U-14 Boys’ category. He has also secured the Best Player title at the State level. He also secured the Runner Up position in the U-14 Boys’ Singles and Doubles category at the Open Baroda Tennis Tournament organized by the Bal Bhavan Society and received certificates and trophies for the same.
Kanish Shah of Std. III and Siddharth Gandhi of Std. VII won a participation certificate and a medal in the Kids Cyclothon conducted by House of Humanity at Decathlon, Sevasi.

Vriha Pandya of Std. II received a medal and a Certificate of Merit for securing the 1st place in Kumite Blue Belt 2.0 at the 2nd Republic Day Open Karate Championship.
Kayan Kotadia of Std. VII received the Certificate of Rank for successfully completing the training courses and techniques of 3rd Kue in Kan Zen Ryu Karate Do Kyokai and has been awarded the rank of Orange Belt.
Svaras Shukla and Hemin Joshi of Std. IX secured the 8th rank in the Talentine Quiz Competition and received a participation certificate and a cash prize of ₹2,100 for the same. Hemin Joshi also secured the 1st place in Khel-Mahakumbh Long & High Jump (Athletics) in U-17 Boys’ category at the Zonal level.
Atharva Deota of Std. VI received the Certificate of Achievement in Master Spellers and has been selected for the Quarterfinal round.
Bhavya Patel of Std. V was awarded the Man of the Match title for his spectacular performance in a cricket match organized by the Baroda Cricket Association. He remained not out with a score of 50 runs in 47 balls and hit 8 fours. In bowling, he has to his credit 2 maiden overs out of 4.
Naksh Shah of Std. III achieved 2nd place in individual Kata and 1st place in team Kata (Brown Belt) at the Shitoryu Shotokan Open National Karate Championship and received medals and a certificate for the same.
Tausha Gor of Std. VI received the Best Player of the Match medal and a gift voucher in the football tournament organized by K. K. Vithani institute.
Hitanshu Joshi of Std. V achieved the 2nd place in the Individual Kata and 1st place in the team Kata (Blue Belt) at the Shitoryu Shotokan Open National Karate Championship and received medals and a certificate for the same.
Simar Notani of Std. III secured the 3rd rank in Pyar aur Gurmat Ka Khel organized by a Gurudwara at Warashiya and received a shield for the same.
Arya Jivani of Std. IX secured the Winner position in the U-16 Boys’ Singles category at the Open Baroda Tennis Tournament organized by the Bal Bhavan Society and received a certificate and a trophy for the same.
Riddhi Shah of Std. IX secured the Semifinalist position in the Baroda District Badminton Tournament in the U-17 Girls’ category and received certificates and medals for the same.

Ayush Mistry of Std. VI clinched the Man of the Match, Player of the Series and Best All Round Performer of the Tournament titles in the U-12 Boys’ Cricket Tournament; organized by the Baroda Cricket Association. He received trophies and a cash prize of ₹ 5000/- for the same.

Annual Sports Meet (Std. I to V)
The Annual Sports Meet for the students of Std. I to V was held on 12th January 2024 in the esteemed presence of the Chairman Dr Simit Shah, Directress Ms Swara Shah, Principal Ms Neeta Sharma, Heads of School, parents and students. The event commenced with a welcome speech and a prayer. This was followed by the oath-taking ceremony wherein the participants pledged to uphold the spirit of true sportsmanship. Then, the Chairman declared the Sports Meet open and released the balloons.
The most fascinating aspects of the event, were the splendid Calisthenics, Aerobics and Karate drills involving mass student participation and attractive formations which splattered a riot of colours on the field. The track and field events included a number of races such as Running Race, Frog Race, Duck Race, Hurdle Race, Zig-Zag Race, Langdi Race, Balancing Book Race etc. for different classes. The participants enthusiastically participated in the track events.
This was followed by the prize distribution ceremony, where the winners were felicitated with medals. The event concluded by proposing the vote of thanks. The Annual Sports Meet was a grand success. The parents enjoyed the event thoroughly and praised the school for organising it. The school management acknowledged and appreciated the efforts of the Physical Education teachers.

The Annual Sports Meet for the students of Std. VI to XII was held on 18th January 2024 in the cherished presence of the Chief Guest Ms Krishna Pandya -District Sports Development Officer, Chairman Dr Simit Shah, Directress Ms Swara Shah, Principal Ms Neeta Sharma, Heads of School, parents and students. The event commenced with a welcome speech and a prayer. This was followed by the March Past, a parade that requires a great display of discipline, coordination and unity; and our students’ rose to the occasion and paraded with such precision and grace that it made our hearts swell with pride. Next in queue was the torch lighting ceremony symbolising hope and inspiration for the participants competing in various events. This was followed by the oath-taking ceremony wherein the participants pledged to demonstrate true sportsmanship during the event. Then, the Chairman declared the Sports Meet open. The Chief Guest- Ms Krishna Pandya released the balloons. Brightians enthusiastically performed - Wand Drill, Clap Drill and Dumbbells all of which were great sights to behold. The drills were a combination of intricate movements, synchronized steps, and impressive formations. The students moved in unison, with each step taken in perfect synchronization with the others. The track and field events included a number of interesting races such as Running Race, Shuttle Run Race, Hoola Hoop Passing Race, Chak De Race, Relay Unity Race, Sack Race, Book Balancing Race, Ball Balancing Fitness Race etc. for different classes. The participants enthusiastically participated in the track events.

Annual Concert ‘Annual Fest’
The Annual Concert of Std. II titled 'Annual Fest’ was held in Shri J R Shah Auditorium on 24th January, 2024. Brightians rocked the event with their mind-blowing performances. The event commenced with the welcome speech. The Principal, Ms Neeta Sharma, presented the school report highlighting the school's and the students' achievements of the year. This was followed by the prayer dance performance wherein the Brightians sought the blessings of the supreme deity Lord Shiva. This was followed by a performance titled 'Party Toh Banti Hein...' a beautifully themed song which conveyed the message that we must make hay while the sun shines i.e. we must make the most of every moment and enjoy life to its fullest. The next performance 'Famous Reels', implored the audience to unwind and merrily tap their feet to every beat of the mesmerizing mashup reels. This was followed by the performance 'Make Some Noise...', the song that made Brightians twist and shake their bodies to the beats of western music and kept the audience enthralled. The next dance titled 'Mein Nikla...' captivated the audience with the energetic dance moves of the participants and its upbeat music. This was followed by the 'Rajasthani Dance' and the confluence of colourful attires, traditional dance steps and energetic performances, kept the audience mesmerized. The ‘Nacho Nacho...’ song brought along with it a different flavour of dance steps and enthusiasm wherein the participants were seen performing joyfully to the rhythm and beats of the song. ‘Mor Pankh’, the next dance performance, brought along with it a flavour of the divine bond of Radha-Krishna, driving the audience into a new kind of frenzy. The next song, ‘Goti Lo...’, drove home the message that whatever we seek outside is present within us, so instead of searching for it outside, we need to look within; as our mind is our real guide and provides us with solutions to all our problems. The final performance of the day 'Bharat ka Bacchha Bacchha Jai Shri Ram Bolega...', was a cherry on the cake, mesmerizing the audience. The air was filled with devotion. The event ended by proposing a Vote of Thanks to all and sundry. The event was a grand success and was immensely praised by the parents. The dances were choreographed by our dance teachers Ms Vaishali Bane and Mr Jimish Chaudhary.
Annual Concert ‘Annual Fest’
The Annual Concert of Prep and Std. I titled 'Annual Fest’ was held in Shri J R Shah Auditorium on 17th February, 2024. Brightians rocked the event with spectacular performances. The Chairman, Dr Simit Shah and Directress Ms Swara Shah graced the event with their esteemed presence. The event commenced with the welcome speech. The Principal, Ms Neeta Sharma, presented the school report highlighting the school's and the students' achievements of the year. The winners of various competitions were felicitated. The event started with a shlok invoking God’s blessings. What is life without a little fun and frolic, dance and music? This idea was splendidly manifested in the dance performance on the evergreen melody ‘Arrey Ja Re Hat Natkhat...'. In the next dance performance ‘Zumba’, Brightians gave a zestful performance, imploring the audience to tap their feet to the beats of the music. The next dance performance ‘Haq Hein Humko…’, was based on the theme of stepping out of comfort zones and embracing opportunities confidently and courageously. The next dance performance 'Bhor Bhaye…', was about Radha awaiting Lord Krishna's arrival. The dance ‘Crazy’ made brightians twist and shake their bodies to the beats of western music and kept the audience enthralled. In the next performance titled ‘Fashion’, Brightians mesmerized the audience with their style and personality adding colour and vigour to the atmosphere. The dance performance 'Ramayan' was based on ‘Maryada Purshottam’ Lord Rama’s epic. The event ended with the holy chanting of 'Jai Shree Ram' by everyone present and the sound of the chanting resonated across the entire auditorium making the atmosphere divine. The event was a grand success and was immensely praised by the parents. The dances were choreographed by Mr Jimish Chaudhary, Ms Chitra Gavli, Ms Moala and Ms Vaishali Bane.
