Bagless Day - Std I to VIII 04.10.2025
Our students celebrated Bagless Day with joy and learning beyond the classroom! The day began with a Mental Health Awareness Video followed by an engaging discussion on “Mental Health Week” with the theme: “Community: Supporting Mental Well-being Together”. Students participated in a range of hands-on and mindful activities that nurtured both heart and mind : Discussion on Healthy Food Habits, Kitchen Gardening, and Cooking Without Fire Promoting a Healthy Lifestyle by tracking sleep, diet, screen time, and family time Viewing an inspiring video on mental well-being and self-care.
The day was a beautiful reminder that true education goes beyond books — it’s about building a balanced, healthy, and happy life!
Inter School Competition ‘Bright Fest – 2025’
‘Bright Fest – 2025’ was celebrated on 7th October 2025; in the J. R. Shah Auditorium. The event commenced with the welcome speech, where the school’s management – Chairman Sir Dr Simit Shah, Directress Ms Swara Shah, Principal Ms Neeta Sharma and the organizing committee of the event warmly welcomed the judges, as well as the members and students of the participating schools. This was followed by a solemn prayer, seeking the divine blessings of Goddess Saraswati to ensure that the event unfolds with grace and harmony. The ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolized the dispelling of darkness and the awakening of knowledge. This was followed by a brief introduction of the pillars of the school Chairman Sir Dr Simit Shah, Directress Ms Swara Shah and Principal Ms Neeta Sharma. A bouquet and memento were presented to the esteemed judges as a token of heartfelt appreciation, in recognition of their invaluable presence and guidance. This was followed by the commencement of competitions with great enthusiasm and anticipation.
The competitions held for the students of Std. I to X included – ‘Disguised Delight’ for Std. I and II, ‘Down the Memory Lane’ for Std. III and IV, ‘The Plot Twist’ for Std. V and VI, ‘Rhythm of the Roots’ for Std. VII and VIII, ‘Splash of Safety’ for Std. IX and ‘Jingle Genius’ for Std. X. Amicus International School, Anand Vidya Vihar, Bright Day School (Vasna), Bright School (VIP), Cygnus World School, IIRA International School, Navrachana School (Sama), New Era Senior Secondary School, Podar World School (Sherki), Navrachana Vidyani Vidyalaya participated in the event. Finally, the much-awaited prize distribution ceremony was held to honour the winners for excellence and celebrate the spirit of achievement.

Bagless Day - Std I to VIII 11.10.2025
The day was filled with creativity, reflection and festive cheer as students celebrated Bagless Day with great enthusiasm! Students enjoyed a range of hands-on activities including Diya Decoration, Diwali Drawing, Diwali Songs and Diwali-themed Stories, spreading the light of joy and togetherness. As part of Mental Health Week, students participated in Self-Reflection by writing Gratitude Messages for their parents and teachers on the blackboard — a beautiful way to express thankfulness and mindfulness. They also showcased their creativity and awareness through Poster & Slogan Making, Essay and Poetry Writing, focusing on the importance of mental well-being and positive thinking.
The celebration truly reflected the spirit of learning beyond books, fostering creativity, compassion and community support among our young learners.
Annual Concert - ‘The Bright Fest' (Std. II)
The Annual Concert of Std. II was held in the Shri J R Shah Auditorium on 14th October, 2025. The event commenced with the auspicious ‘Ganesh Stuti’, a devotional invocation seeking Lord Ganesh’s blessings for its smooth and successful unfolding. A warm welcome was extended to the esteemed Chairman, Dr. Simit Shah, Directress Ms. Swara Shah, the Heads of School, and all attending parents. Ms Neha Davesar, Incharge of Primary Section, shared the School Report, showcasing the remarkable accomplishments of both the institution and its students over the past year.
The programme began with a soulful Prayer Dance, where each beat and movement by the Brightians resonated with heartfelt devotion to the Divine. This was followed by the dynamic ‘Adivasi Western Dance’, a spirited fusion of India’s tribal rhythm and the fluidity of Western style, creating a vibrant cultural blend. The lively performance of ‘Buddhu Sa Mann…’ celebrated the joy of living in the moment, earning enthusiastic applause from the audience for its infectious energy.
A captivating Garba performance on ‘Radha Gori Ne Kalo Kaan…’ brought the essence of Gujarat alive on stage, enchanting everyone with its traditional charm. ‘Chote Chote Tamashe…’ offered a delightful portrayal of childhood, capturing the innocence, mischief, and simple pleasures of young lives. The spiritual piece ‘Namo Namah Shivay…’ then transported the audience into a realm of devotion, as the Brightians expressed reverence for Lord Shiva through graceful, meditative movements.
The colourful and rhythmic ‘Prop Dance’ added another layer of visual delight to the event. The powerful performance titled ‘Narasimha’ depicted the legendary tale of Prahalad, the devout follower of Lord Vishnu, and his miraculous rescue by Narasimha, the lion incarnation. The dancers’ bold expressions and commanding presence left the audience awestruck.
‘Vande Mataram’ followed as a stirring tribute to the motherland, celebrating India’s strength, unity, and enduring spirit. The grand finale, ‘Thaan Liya Humne…’, was a resounding declaration of determination, where every step embodied the Brightians’ unwavering resolve to pursue success with courage and commitment.
Each performance was a testament to the students’ talent, passion, and dedication, making the event a truly memorable celebration of culture, spirit, and artistic expression.
All the dance performances were thoughtfully choreographed by our dedicated dance instructors, Mr Jimmish Chaudhary and Ms Vaishali Bane. Their efforts, combined with the enthusiastic participation of every student, made the celebration truly memorable. The parents expressed heartfelt appreciation to the school management for orchestrating such a spectacular and well-organized function.
Bagless Day - Std I to VIII 08.11.2025
A day dedicated to learning beyond textbooks through fun, exploration, and creativity!
The campus buzzed with excitement as students participated in a range of hands-on and experiential activities, fostering imagination, teamwork, and national pride.
- Poster Making: Students beautifully showcased themes of the Swadeshi Movement, encouraging the use of Khadi and Made in India products while expressing love for the nation through colours and creativity.
- Bookmarks of Inspiration: Students crafted vibrant bookmarks with motivational quotes by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, like — “You have to dream before your dreams can come true.”
- Storytelling Session: Interactive sessions on the Swadeshi Movement and Children’s Day inspired students with tales of courage, patriotism, and innovation.
- Art Corner: Our young artists illustrated National Symbols — the Lotus, Banyan Tree, Peacock, and Hockey Stick with Ball, proudly writing the slogan: “स्वदेशी अपनाओ, देश आगे बढ़ाओ”

150 Glorious Years of “Vande Mataram”!
Brightians proudly joined the nation in commemorating 150 years of our National Song – “Vande Mataram”; composed by Shri Bankim Chandra Chatterjee on 7th November 1875. On 7th November 2025, our school organized a “Vande Mataram” and mass singing of this immortal song, echoing the spirit of unity, strength, and national pride. Brightians also took the swadeshi pledge calling out to use swadeshi products which would help for economic development of our motherland.
Students actively participated in a series of activities including: Singing and music programmes : Essay writing and debates, Poster making, Vande Mataram Quiz (via MyGov platform), Exhibition on the legacy of “Vande Mataram”.
Let us celebrate our Motherland and the unbreakable bond of unity in diversity. Together, we say with pride — Vande Mataram!.
Children’s Day
Every year on November 14, India celebrates Children’s Day, a day dedicated to honouring the spirit, innocence and boundless energy of children. This special day marks the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, India’s first Prime Minister, who was fondly known as Chacha Nehru for his deep love and affection toward children. Brightians celebrated Children's Day with great fervour. A speech was delivered about the significance of Children's Day, during the morning assembly. A song celebrating the spirit of the day was sung by our Music teacher Rajiv Dashputre. Teachers shared the significance of the day in the form of facts and videos. Brightians made lovely drawings and coloured them beautifully. Brightians also made caps of Chacha Nehru and wore them joyfully.
Science Exhibition
Our brilliant Std. V students put up an inspiring and power-packed Science Exhibition, showcasing their curiosity, innovation and scientific thinking! Each model reflected hard work, teamwork, and a deep understanding of how science shapes our world. Here are the amazing projects our young scientists presented : Robotic Arm, Drip Irrigation System, Types of Houses, Simple Machines, Hydraulic Pressure Model, Ferris Wheel Model, Chandrayaan Model, ATM Machine Model, Rainwater Detector, Water Treatment Plant, Water Dispenser Model, Greenhouse Effect Model, Earthquake Detector Machine.
The exhibition was a wonderful showcase of innovation and hands-on learning. A big round of applause to all our young creators, their teachers, and parents for encouraging such scientific spirit!.
Constitution Day
Constitution Day also known as 'Samvidhan Divas', is celebrated in our country on 26th November every year to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India. On 26th November 1949, the Constituent Assembly of India adopted the Constitution of India, which came into effect from 26th January 1950. This year's theme of the Constitution Day is 'Our Constitution : Our Pride' (Hamara Samvidhan : Hamara Swabhiman).
Brightians celebrated the day with devotion and a spirit of patriotism. The significance of the Constitution Day was shared during the morning assembly. Teachers shared valuable information during the course of the day. Brightians made placards demonstrating roles and responsibilities of the citizens of the country. The Preamble was read by the Brightians wherein they solemnly pledged to abide by the Indian Constitution.
Robotics Lab Activities
Young Innovators at Work! Our students have been busy exploring creativity, technology, and hands-on learning in the Robotics Lab. Here’s a glimpse of the amazing projects built across different grades.
- Std 1 - Hanging Lantern, Ring Toss & Zip Line Ride, Dancing Robot. Students explored how light works by creating a glowing lantern using an LED lamp block. With a fun model, students learned how pulleys and ropeways function in real life. Little engineers designed a dancing robot and discovered how movement is created through shape and structure.
- Std 2 & 3 - Street Light Project, Weight Measuring Device. Using a simple LED circuit and structural box, students made a functional street light model powered by a battery. Students understood balancing and measuring weights by building their own measurement device.
- Std 4 to 6 - A hanging lantern. The students learnt how to make light lamp by using led lamp block.
- Std 7–10 - AI Project (M-Block), Obstacle Avoiding Robot. Vote With Modi : Students coded using cognitive services and text-to-speech to create a program that detects age and checks voting eligibility using logical conditions.
A fully working robot that uses IR sensors to detect obstacles, navigate safely, and avoid collisions.
Science Club Activity
Levitating Paper Clip - Magnet Experiment
This activity was based on magnets and their attraction property. All the necessary materials such as paper clips, thread, tape and a magnet were provided by the school. Students used two identical water bottles. It was an excellent idea to explain the property of magnets. The activity can be done safely, easily and with little preparation.
