FOUNDATION DAY – 16.04.2024
“Glorious 20th Foundation Day”–Honouring the past, building the future. It was celebrated with an array of activities such as diary quiz, learning about motto and mission of the school, students formed the number 20.
WORLD HERITAGE DAY - 18.04.2024
As humans, we like to remember our ancestors and the people gone by through their work and legacy. World Heritage Day celebrates these exact sentiments by appreciating and cherishing the ancient monuments, arts, and sites. Students of Grade 1 to 5 were engaged in different activities related to Heritage and thus celebrated it by enriching themselves and cherishing about our old age heritage.
EARTH DAY - 22.04.2024
The Brightians celebrated Earth Day on 22 April 2023 with great enthusiasm and fervour. The event was organized to raise awareness about the importance of preserving our planet and to encourage students to take action to protect the environment. Various eco-friendly activities were organized,to spread awareness about the environment.
WORLD BOOK DAY - 23.04.2024
World Book Day is a celebration to encourage reading of books. Each year, on 23 April, celebrations take place all over the world to recognize the scope of books - a link between the past and the future, a bridge between generations and across cultures. ‘Literary Festival’ Scholastic book fair was organized from 23rd April – 27th April to ensure reading must go on……
INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY - 21.06.2024
The International Yoga Day was celebrated on 21st June, presenting a great opportunity to implement the values of discipline, mental and physical practice, and the unity of mind and body. During the celebration, students performed various yoga postures and learned meditation techniques.
FOUNDER'S DAY - 03.07.2024
Remembering our Founder and Beloved Sir ‘Shri Jayendrabhai Shah”. As part of Founder’s Day various activities were conducted to pay tribute to Sir Shri Jayendra bhai Shah, the founder of the Bright Group of schools. The students were made aware about the qualities, attributesof Sir who with his vision built Bright Group of Schools to provide holistic and quality education to the children of our city.
DRAWING - STD. I AND II
Every artist was first an amateur. It requires patience, love and skills to be a great artist. Our young learners of grade 1 and 2 took their first step towards becoming an artist by participating in the first diary competition of the academic year 2024 – 25 i.e Drawing Competition.
BEST OUT OF WASTE - STD. III
Best Out-Of-Waste simply means to make something innovative and attractive out of the material that is of no use otherwise. Creating something new from the old, recycling and upcycling, are the best ways to reduce one's carbon footprint. We at Bright strongly believe in inculcating the value of reduce, reuse and recycle. Thus, as part of it students of grade 3 participated in the Best Out of Waste competition and came up with great innovative and creative ideas.
TELL A TALE - STD. IV
“Inside each of us is a natural-born storyteller, waiting to be released”, truly said by Robin Moore. We all love listening and reading different genres of story. The competition was a great opportunity for the young story tellers of grade 4 to showcase their skills and narrate the story on the given themes – A Mythological Character, Twist in a Story by changing the end of the story and so on.
JUST A MINUTE - STD. V
Speaking impromptu for 1 minute is a challenging task, but our grade 5 students were able to do it with ease. The purpose was to increase their ability of spontaneous speech without any preparation. The students had to organize their views and speak out only relevant information within the stipulated time i.e. one minute.
HANDWRITTING - STD. I
Good and neat handwriting is a skill, which can be developed by practice. To inculcate the importance of writing in neat and legible handwriting, the handwriting competition was held for Grade 1 students.
TALENT HUNT - STD. III
Everyone is born with some talent, one just has to nurture it. With this aim and to bring out children’s hidden talent, Talent Hunt Competition was organised for grade 3 students. The categories for talent hunt were – Mono Acting, Dancing, Singing and playing Musical Instruments.
CREATIVE WRITTING - STD. V
Creative writing is a form of writing that helps children to express their imagination, creativity, ideas and thoughts without any inhibitions.
DISPLAY OF TAILOR SHOP - STD. I
Grade 1 had topic “Clothes We Wear’. Display of Tailor shop was arranged to enhance their learning. They got hands on experience of seeing different things used by a tailor.
PLANT AND PLANT PRODUCTS DISPLAY – STD. III
“Nothing beats a firsthand experience”. It is true in all its sense. For students better understanding about the Plant world, teachers of grade 3 organised a plants and plants products Display on 11th and 12th July for students to observe and learn more about the topic.
