International Yoga Day – 21.06.2024
International Yoga Day was celebrated in Bright Day School on 21st June 2024 on the theme 'Yoga for self and society' to instill the importance of Physical fitness and Mental alertness among students.
In the morning assembly students of class 5 to 9 demonstrated rhythemic yoga with great enthusiasm. The movements and postures synchronized with the music. The celebration also included warm up exercises, sitting and standing asanas and pranayam. The students were encouraged to practice regular yoga to remain fit and improve concentration.
PRANAYAM FOR ALL. Pranayama is the practice of breath regulation. It’s a main component of yoga, an exercise for physical and mental wellness. Pranayama has benefits of its own. These advantages are due to the therapeutic effects of breathing exercises and mindfulness.
Founder's Day - 02.07.2024
As a part of Founder’s Day, the Bright Family came together to honour the visionary, Sir Shri Jayendrabhai Shah, Founder of the Bright Group of Schools. The day was marked by a series of events to pay homage to our roots.
A special assembly was organized to remember our founder Sir. The students presented an action song and a poem. Through their graceful movements, they paid a fitting tribute to his cherished ideals.They also shared the qualities and attributes of Sir and remembered him as a teacher, trailblazer, an orator and a leader. During the assembly, the Principal spoke about Sir's commitment to growth, sustainability, mission and vision.
The students also visited Shri Jayendra Shah Memoriam witnessing the incredible success of our respected and beloved Sir. Students also made sketches and penned down poems and articles about the immeasurable contributions of our Founder. A special prayer meeting was organized by the teachers as a mark of respect and heartfelt tribute to our beloved Founder.
Gauri Vrat
The Gauri Vrat celebration at Bright fostered a sense of cultural pride and tradition among the students. The puja for the same was performed by the girls with great devotion. The ‘jawara’ were immersed in water on the last day. The celebration highlighted the cultural significance and emphasized values like devotion and discipline.
Guru Purnima - 12.07.2024
On the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima, our school organized a special assembly to honour and appreciate the invaluable contributions of the teachers. The event was a blend of tradition, respect and heartfelt gratitude. The student council members greeted each teacher with a traditional Tika and presented them a handmade card, expressing their heartfelt thanks and appreciation.
Kargil Vijay Divas - 26.07.2024
The 25th Kargil Vijay Diwas was celebrated in the school by conducting a special assembly. The sacrifice of the brave soldiers was remembered by observing a minute silence, their exemplary courage and valour was cherished by singing a soulful song. Our principal shed light on the victorious day by sharing some facts about Kargil war making the students aware about the difficulties and sacrifices of the brave hearts. The students paid homage to the brave martyrs by displaying posters and sharing about their contribution.
Student Union Election - 01.07.2024
Bright Day School proudly announces the successful completion of the Student’s Council Election for the academic year 2024-25. The election process, held on 1st July’ 24 marked by enthusiastic participation and a commendable display of democratic values by the students. The student Council Election is a significant event in the school’s calendar providing student with a platform to voice their opinions, demonstrate leadership and actively participate in school governance. The election campaign was vibrant and included speeches and various promotional activities. Each candidate presented their vision and plans to improve the school environment and address student’s concern.
The voting process was conducted in a fair and transparent manner ensuring that every student from Std. VI onwards had the opportunity to participate. By the end of the day the results were also announced and new enthusiastic council member committee was formed. The school extends its heartfelt congratulations to all its elected members. A special thanks to our School President and Chief Election Commissioner Shri Saumil Shah, whose careful guidance helped in ensuring a smooth and fair election process.
Investiture Ceremony - 06.07.2024
The Investiture Ceremony for the academic session 2024-25 was held with great pomp and dignity at Bright Day School on 6th July 2024. The Chief Guest of the ceremony was Shri Sanjay Karmta, PI, Bhaili Police Station. The ceremony commenced with a prayer dance followed by a motivational song by the students. The newly elected student council members were conferred with badges and sashes by the Chief Guest, President of the school, Shri Saumil Shah and the Heads.
The student council took an oath to do their duties to the best of their abilities. The Chief Guest addressed the audience to respect the teachers and foster a sense of unity and pride. The function concluded with the National Anthem.
