Geeta Chanting Competition
Gita Chanting Competition was organised by Chinmaya Mission on 1/12/24. Our school achieved outstanding results :-
- Category B: 3rd position by Kavya Lakshatariya from class 2.
- Category E: 1st position by Dipita Salian and second consolation prize by Misha Sankhala from class 9.
- Category F: 1st position by Keshavi Tripathi, 2nd by Aashka Bhandari, 3rd by Parv Pujara, first consolation by Shriya Ranadive and second consolation prize by Urja Soni from class 10.
CBSE Regional level Science Exhibition
Urshita Vaghela and Shraddha Parmar of class 11 Science participated in CBSE Regional Level Science Exhibition held on 29th and 30th November'24. Their Science projec 'Edulis Packaging' under the theme 'Food, Health and Hygiene' has got selected for the Nationals in the senior category. They were mentored by our teacher Ms.Papiya Mukherjee.
CBSE Heritage Quiz
Three of our students- Dibyendu Sarkar, Ayush Kapoor and Vihan Tripathi of class 11 emerged as winners of the CBSE Heritage Quiz state round held on 25/11/24. They proudly represented at the National level. They were mentored by our teacher Mr. Manish Engineer.
Aashey Mankodi – Tell your tale
Aashay Mankodi of 8 G participated in the All India Kids Premier League Season 3 and bagged 4th prize and is awarded Honourable mention in the Tell Ur Tale Finale organized by Wizkids Carnival in Pune. He was awarded the trophy and medal by Ms.Pooja Sahasrabudhe, an Indian International Table Tennis Player.
Mathmania Quiz
Two teams participated in Mathamania Quiz held on 26th and 27th November organized by Navrachna International School. Team A from class 6 to 8 and Team B from class 9 and 10 bagged the First Prize in this quiz. The winners are: Atharva Patel VII B, Harignya Gajjar VI D, Aditya Sana VIII F, Jwalin Vyas IX A, Harshil Patel X B.
Atharva Deogade – Rubik cube
Atharva Deogade from class VI C participated in National and State level Rubik's Cube Tournament organized by Vadodara Rubik's Cube Academy. He bagged gold medal in 3 cube relay, won winner trophies in 5 cube relay and Talent Hunt. He also secured merit position in 4×4, 5×5 cube Megaminix.
Pinnacle competition
Our students participated in 'The Pinnacle' Competition held at Cygnus school . Diggaj Jain from class 8 F stood 1st in ClassyFiad and Parv Pujara from class 10 B bagged 2nd prize in ArtOpsy Competition.
Arpita Patankar
Arpita Patankar of 6 B secured various positions and bagged many trophies in the Chess Championship held in the month of September and October 2024.
- 1st in U-11 District and State Chess Championship. She was selected to represent Gujarat State in 'National U-11 Championship'.
- 1st in U-13 Girl's category in 1st International Open Fide rated Tournament ' held at Udaipur. She was awarded with cash prize and a trophy.
- 8th position in '37th National U-11 Girl's Chess Championship ' held at Hyderabad. She finished in Top 10 National Prize Winners and was awarded with cash prize and a trophy.
- She gained 30 ELO point and crossed her live rating 1700+. She also got the eligibility for' World Chess Cadet'
NAIMUN
In the 14th Edition of NIMUN, with a total of 21 delegations and 16 schools being a part of the competition, 1 delegation (comprised of 6 students) was sent from Bright Day School, CBSE. The students who have won the awards from the same are: Avanti Landge from class 11th Commerce (best delegate), Aaliya Pamila from class 11th Humanities (emerging MUNer) and the overall best school delegation award that was won by the students representing Bright Day School, CBSE.
CBSE Cluster Athlete Meet
Parnika Singh of class 11 and Krishna Soni of class 12 participated in CBSE Cluster Athletics Meet from 23/9/2024 to 27/9/2024 at Suman Nirmal Minda School. Parnika bagged a silver medal in Shotput and Krishna bagged two gold medals in 100mt and 200mt Running Race. Both these students have qualified for CBSE Nationals.
Navratri Celebration 2k24
The Navratri celebration at Bright Day School was filled with great excitement. The event started with Garba performances by various classes, showcasing their talent and enthusiasm. Students, dressed in traditional attire, performed beautifully to the rhythmic beats of traditional garba songs. A traditional Aarti was performed to offer prayers and seek blessings of Maa Amba which created a serene and spiritual atmosphere. The competition for the best Garba performance and costume was judged by our distinguished guests for the celebration. They evaluated participants based on their coordination, energy, and costumes. The event concluded with the announcement of the winners, making it a memorable celebration for everyone involved.
SPECTRUM 2024
Bright School hosted Spectrum, a two day Sports and Cultural Event on 29th and 30th November 2024. The event featured thrilling competition in Kabaddi(Under 14 and 17),Volleyball (under 19), Chess(for grade 4,5, and 6,8) and Athletics (for Girls of grade 1 and 2 ) . In the Super Teacher’s Competition under the theme 'The Icons' teachers from 10 different schools participated in events like dance, singing, role play and painting.
The enthusiastic participation of around 350 students from 20 schools and 30 teachers from various schools highlighted the spirit of teamwork and creativity. The event concluded with a grand prize distribution celebrating excellence and sportsmanship.
INTACH HERITAGE QUIZ - STATE LEVEL
The INTACH Heritage Quiz was held on 26th October, 2024 at Bright school with students from five schools competing enthusiastically to showcase their knowledge of India’s rich heritage. The quiz included rounds on historical monuments, art, and culture, sparking excitement and learning. The first prize was bagged by Jwalin Vyas ( grade 9) and Dutt Patel ( grade 8). They will further proceed for the national round.
The event concluded with certificates and prizes for the winners, and words of encouragement from Prof. Dr. K Krishnan (Chief Guest of the event) and also the presence of Shri Saumil Shah, the President of the School. The quiz was a resounding success, fostering a deeper appreciation for India’s cultural legacy.
Joy of Giving
As a part of 'Joy of Giving' week celebration, students of classes I to VIII celebrated generosity and compassion by donating their toys, books and stationery items to the underprivileged children of the society. The students experienced the joy of spreading kindness and making a difference in communities.
The donated items were collected by NGO, Sneh Foundation Vadodara who is working for the upliftment of the education and hygiene of the children staying in slums.
YOUTH PARLIAMENT - 15th October, 2024
Students of grade 11th and 12th commerce and humanities participated in YOUTH PARLIAMENT conducted at Bright Day School CBSE VASNA. All the participants learnt different sessions contracted in parliament. Such as
- Oath taking
- Obituary
- Question hour
- Breach of privilege and
- Discussion on matters of urgent public importance.
Complete event was blessed with presence of Smt. Lilaben Makwana, a corporator of ward no 10 for Term I. She did appreciated all the participants for their prepared content and the way delivered their points as a true parliamentarian. This event was a grand success with the support and motivation by our president Sir Shri Saumil Shah.
