School Games of Federation of India (SGFI)
The Bright School is thrilled to announce that the U-14 and U-17 Girls Kho-Kho team has secured the First Prize where they competed with more than 10 school at city level. Demonstrating exceptional teamwork and sportsmanship, our team secured the top position and earned the opportunity to complete at the District Level.
The boys Kho-Kho Team U-14 and U-17 also secured the third position with the Bronze Medal. Boys from Kho-Kho Team have also been selected to represent at the District Level. School President Shree Saumil Shah, Principals and the entire school family appreciate their hard work, enthusiasm and dedication.

Independence Day Celebration
On August 15th, 2024, The Bright School GSEB & CBSE Vasna Unit celebrated Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor. The celebration began with the flag hoisting ceremony, where our School President, Shree Saumil Shah, unfurled the national flag. This was followed by the students of the GSEB Unit singing a series of patriotic songs that filled the atmosphere with pride and respect for our nation.
Following the soulful rendition of patriotic songs, the students of the CBSE Unit presented a vibrant dance performance that further elevated the motivation of the day. The event concluded with the singing of the national anthem, bringing the ceremony to a dignified close.
The program was outstanding, showcasing the students' talents and their deep respect for the nation. It was a day of pride and unity, celebrating the spirit of Independence.
Janmashtami Celebration : 24th August 2024
Krishna Janmashtami, commemorating the birth of Lord Krishna, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu, was celebrated with immense enthusiasm by the students of Std. I and II at The Bright School, Vasna. The young learners, adorned in vibrant traditional attire, gathered at school to partake in the festivities. They were captivated by the enchanting tales of Lord Krishna, fostering a deep connection to our ancient and rich cultural heritage. The children joyously participated in singing and dancing, embracing the spirit of the occasion with exuberance.
The school premises were exquisitely decorated, enhancing the festive atmosphere. The celebration was further enlivened by the melodious strains of music, which amplified the joy and reverence of the day.
The event was graced by the School President Sir Shri Saumil Shah, and Principal Madam. The school expressed its gratitude to the students and teachers for their enthusiasm and support.
Teacher’s Day Celebration

The Bright School celebrated Teacher’s Day on Sept’ 5th honoring the individual contribution of its educators in shaping young minds and building the future. The celebration was filled with enthusiasm and respect reflecting the strong bond between the students and teachers. The day commenced with a special assembly where students expressed their gratitude through prayer, poem and songs for their beloved teachers.
The celebration continued where students were allowed to step into the shoes of their teachers for a day. The aim was to foster respect and appreciation for the efforts educators put into teaching. Selected student-teacher took the role of teacher, conducting lessons and engaging students with learning. The experience gave students first hand understanding of the challenges of teaching.
The celebration continued throughout the day with students presenting handmade cards and flowers to their teachers, making the day memorable for all. The Teachers were made to feel special through various taglines appreciating their qualities and commitment towards this noble profession. It was a day filled with joy and fulfillment for the teachers, knowing that their hand work and dedication have positively impacted the lives of their students.
Ganesh Chaturthi Celebration
गणपति बप्पा, शुभ दिन आया,
खुशियों का सागर संग में लाया ।
हाथी जेसे विशाल हैं आप,
ज्ञान और बुद्धि के अद्भुत व्याप ।
On the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, The Bright School organized a grand Celebration to welcome Lord Ganesha with devotion and enthusiasm. The entire school came together to honour the festival, which signifies the arrival of wisdom, prosperity and good fortune.
The day started with the installation of eco-friendly Ganesh idol, followed by traditional procession of mythological characters, and students dancing on the beats of the Dhol. This year the school celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi with a special theme dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Kargil War, Honoring the bravery and sacrifice of the Kargil soldiers. The event was designed to merge the spiritual essence of Lord Ganesha with a tribute to the valiant heroes who defended our nation.
The students organized various dances and cultural performances including devotional songs. The entire school was filled with a sense of reverence and spirituality as the chants of ‘Ganpati Bappa Moriya’ echoed throughout the corridors of the school.
Ganesh Visarjan
Bright Day School GSEB Vasna Unit proudly celebrated Ganesh Visarjan 2024-25 with great fervor and enthusiasm. The event was graced by the presence of our esteemed President, Shri Saumil Shah, who led the Visarjan Ceremony with profound devotion. Students, and teachers came together in vibrant procession and heartfelt prayers, making the celebration a truly memorable occasion. This event highlighted our school’s dedication to upholding cultural traditions and fostering a sense of community.
Hindi Diwas
जन जन की भाषा है हिन्दी
हिंदुस्तान की पहचान है हिन्दी।
हिन्दी एक भाषा ही नहीं बल्कि भावों की अभिव्यक्ति है। हमारे लिए, समाज के लिए और हमारे देश के लिए हिन्दी की सबसे ज्यादा अहमियत है उसीको ध्यान में रखते हुए द ब्राइट स्कूल, वासना यूनिट में १४ सितंबर, हिन्दी दिवस के अवसर पर हिन्दी भाषा को समर्पित करते हुए बेनमून हिन्दी गतिविधियों एवं प्रवृत्तियों का आयोजन किया गया था जिसमें छात्रों ने ‘खेल–खेल में हिन्दी व्याकरण सिखो’ की प्रवृत्ति में सचित्र हिन्दी वर्ण, समानार्थी, विलोम, विशेषण आदि व्याकरण के पहलुओं को प्रदर्शित किया था। इसके अलावा कविता लेखन, स्वरचित हिन्दी नारे, कविता पठन एवं विशेष प्रार्थना सभा का आयोजन और शाला प्रमुख श्री सौमिल शाह और आचार्या गण को हिन्दी दिवस की शुभ कामना कार्ड देकर हिन्दी भाषा की ओर अपना प्रेम और सम्मान प्रदर्शित किया था। आप सभी को हिन्दी दिवस की ढेरों शुभकामनाएँ।
Mandala Art Std. VII & VIII
“Mandala Art is a geometric design that guides us into the nature of the Universe”
The Bright School organized the Mandala Art Competition on 9th August 2024 celebrating creativity and artistic expression among its students. The event aimed to encourage students to explore the rich cultural heritage of Mandala Art and showcase their unique artistic talent.
Students of Std. VII and VIII enthusiastically participated with their intricate designs reflecting their interpretation of art. The competition featured a variety of themes, allowing students to explore different aspects of mandala art. Themes included nature, cultural, abstract designs and personal expressions.
Best out of Waste Std. I & II
“Waste isn’t a waste until we waste it!”
In an inspiring display of creativity and environment consciousness the students of Std. I to II tried to explain the above saying through their displays. The event was held to encourage young minds to transform everyday waste materials into beautiful and useful items. The competition aimed to instil the values of recycling and sustainability in our youngest students, teaching them the importance of reusing and repurposing materials.
The participants made various items like paper weights, vases, art decor and many more. It was an enriching event for students as well as the judges.
Little Chef Competition (Std. III & IV)
Cooking offers young learners an excellent opportunity to practice basic math skills and develop a deeper understanding of healthy eating habits. It's not just about mixing ingredients and following recipes—it's about educating and encouraging children to appreciate the benefits of a balanced diet. The students of Grades III and IV showcased their culinary talents in the ‘Fireless Cooking Competition’ held on 16th August 2024. The event was organized to raise awareness about the nutritional value of food that can be prepared without the use of fire. The young chefs prepared delicious and visually appealing dishes, demonstrating creativity and attention to detail in their presentations. The experience was enjoyable for both the students and the judges.

Mono Acting Competition
“Acting is behaving truthfully under imaginary circumstances.”
The Bright School organized an exhilarating Mono Acting Competition for the students of Std. V and VI. The participant demonstrated their acting skills in front of the audience and judges in a captivating manners. Each student delivered a monologue that ranged from literary characters, historical characters to real life characters. All the characters reflected both the versatility and understanding of the art of acting.
The event provided a platform for the students of display their abilities and encouraged them to explore the depths of human emotions and expressions, fostering creativity and confidence in students.
