Cleanliness is not just a habit, it’s our responsibility!
As part of our continuous efforts to promote cleanliness and environmental responsibility, our school conducted a special assembly where students, teachers, and staff collectively took the Cleanliness Oath. The oath highlighted the importance of keeping our surroundings clean, avoiding single-use plastic, proper waste segregation, composting, and encouraging others to maintain hygiene. Students pledged to dedicate time every week towards cleanliness at home, in school, and in society.
The assembly concluded with a strong commitment from everyone to make our city, state, and India clean and green. The event was also captured in photographs, reflecting the enthusiasm and dedication of our students.
Culmination of Joy of Giving Week

The Bright School observed “Joy of Caring Week” with immense warmth and generosity. Throughout the week, students came forward to donate books, stationery, and clot for the underprivileged, reflecting the school’s commitment to nurturing empathy and social responsibility among young minds. The activity beautifully conveyed the message that sharing with others not only brings happiness to those in need but also enriches the giver’s heart with a sense of fulfillment and gratitude.
School President Shri Saumil Shah and the Principal lauded the commendable efforts of the students and teachers, appreciating their collective spirit of compassio Their words of encouragement motivated everyone to continue spreading kindness beyond the school walls.
The Joy of Caring Week truly reminded all that “the smallest act of kindness can create the biggest ripple of change.”
Sanskrit Diwas
The Bright School celebrated Sanskrit Diwas today which is celebrated on Shraavan Purnima (this year falling on August 8, 2025), a day observed across the nation to honour and promote the ancient language of Sanskrit – the cradle of Indian knowledge, literature, and wisdom. Marking the occasion with deep cultural pride, students participated in a variety of creative and meaningful activities. Thoughtfully designed cards featuring Sanskrit shlokas and messages were handcrafted by the students and respectfully presented to the School President, Shree Saumil Shah.
To enhance the festive spirit, the school’s blackboards and soft boards were artistically decorated with Sanskrit quotes, artwork, and traditional motifs, turning the environment into a vibrant display of heritage. A special assembly added depth to the celebration, where students recited Sanskrit prayers and shlokas, delivered short speeches, and presented cultural performances that showcased the timeless beauty of the Sanskrit language.
The celebration not only fostered a love for our linguistic roots but also inspired students to uphold and preserve this divine language in their lives. "संस्कृतं नाम दैवी वाक् — Sanskrit is the divine speech."
Pre Independence Day Celebration
"Inspiring Young Minds with the Spirit of Freedom”
The Bright School came alive with patriotic fervour as it celebrated a Pre-Independence Day Program packed with enthusiasm, creativity, and national pride. The campus echoed with the spirit of freedom as students actively participated in a series of well-planned activities reflecting the glory and legacy of our great nation. The celebration began with a Tiranga Quiz Competition, where students showcased their knowledge of India’s freedom struggle, national symbols, and inspiring heroes. Students also participated in cultural program that included soul-stirring patriotic songs, performed by the school choir, filling every heart with pride and emotion. To further engage the young minds creatively, poster-making and flag decoration activities were conducted. Students displayed incredible artistic skills in portraying the themes of unity, peace, and patriotism through their artwork.
In a heartfelt and thoughtful initiative, students also participated in a letter-writing activity under the theme “Letters to Soldiers”, where they penned warm wishes and gratitude messages to our brave soldiers, honouring their sacrifices and service to the nation. These activities not only highlighted the talents of students but also instilled in them a deeper understanding of the value of freedom and the responsibilities it brings. As rightly said by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru -"Freedom is not a mere matter of political decision or new constitutions... it is of the mind and the heart and the soul."
Janmashtami Celebration
The Bright School celebrated Janmashtami with great enthusiasm and devotion, bringing alive the spirit of Lord Krishna’s birth. The celebrations began with a beautiful Ras Leela performance by the students, depicting scenes from Krishna’s childhood. The highlight of the event was the Dahi Handi breaking, where the young “Krishna” broke the handi amidst cheers and applause.
The school president, Shri Saumil Shah, performed the Aarti of Lord Krishna and lovingly placed the idol in the Parna Jula, gently swinging it while the devotees sang bhajans, creating a serene and devotional atmosphere. Students of Std. 1 and 2, dressed in vibrant traditional attire as Radha, Krishna, and Gopikas, added charm and colour to the celebration. Teachers also shared with the students the importance of Janmashtami, explaining how it marks the birth of Lord Krishna, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu, and symbolizes the triumph of good over evil, truth over falsehood, and love over hatred. The day ended with devotional songs and sweets, leaving everyone with a heart full of joy and devotion. The celebration truly reflected the cultural richness and festive spirit of The Bright School.
Ganesh Chaturthi Celebration
The Bright School, Vasna Unit, ushered in the festive spirit with the Ganesh Sthapana ceremony held with great devotion and enthusiasm on campus. The school premises resonated with chants of “Ganpati Bappa Morya” as the idol of Lord Ganesha was welcomed with a grand procession throughout the school, accompanied by dhol beats, traditional lazim formations and vibrant student participation.
The beautifully decorated space for Lord Ganesha became the center of devotion and celebration. Mythological characters – Lord Ganesh, Lord Shankar and Goddess Parvati – added a cultural and spiritual aura to the occasion. The highlight of the event was the symbolic Operation Sindoor, presented to honor the strength and sacrifices of India’s Army, Navy, and Air Force.
Further enriching the cultural vibrancy, students presented a graceful lavani dance along with an energetic lazim performance, showcasing India’s folk traditions. The idol was respectfully installed by the School President Mr. Saumil Shah, marking not only the beginning of the Ganesh festival in school but also the proud commencement of the institution’s 25th Silver Jubilee Year. On this momentous occasion, the school also unveiled its specially designed Silver Jubilee Logo. The entire celebration highlighted the essence of faith, culture, unity, and patriotism, leaving everyone with a sense of pride and devotion.
Hindi Diwas
“हिंदी से ही हिंदुस्तान की पहचान है।”
द ब्राइट स्कूल में हिंदी दिवस बड़े उत्साह के साथ विशेष प्रार्थना सभा और विविध गतिविधियों के माध्यम से मनाया गया। इस अवसर पर हिंदी भाषा के महत्व को रेखांकित करते हुए विद्यार्थियों में अपनी राष्ट्रभाषा के प्रति गर्व की भावना जगाई गई। प्रार्थना सभा में ‘विचार–वाक्य’, हिंदी भाषा पर संक्षिप्त भाषण तथा प्रेरक हिंदी पद्य-पाठ प्रस्तुत किए गए। विद्यालय की ओर से प्राचार्य एवं हमारे आदरणीय ट्रस्टी श्री सौमिल शाह को विद्यार्थियों द्वारा बनाए गए विशेष कार्ड भेंट किए गए। कक्षा 1 से 8 तक के विद्यार्थियों के लिए आयु-उपयुक्त गतिविधियाँ आयोजित की गईं, जिनमें हिंदी सुलेख, निबंध लेखन, कार्ड निर्माण, मौलिक कविता लेखन और अन्य रचनात्मक कार्य सम्मिलित थे। इन गतिविधियों ने न केवल उनकी भाषा कौशल को निखारा बल्कि हिंदी के प्रति गहरी आत्मीयता और गर्व भी उत्पन्न किया। यह उत्सव द ब्राइट स्कूल की उस प्रतिबद्धता का प्रतीक रहा, जिसमें विद्यालय अकादमिक उत्कृष्टता के साथ-साथ सांस्कृतिक धरोहर के संरक्षण पर भी बल देता है। कार्यक्रम का समापन इस विचार के साथ हुआ कि— “हिंदी दिवस – गर्व हमारी भाषा पर, सम्मान हमारी संस्कृति का।” .
Navratri Celebration
The Bright School was filled with colors, joy, and festive spirit as the Garba Celebration was held on the occasion of Navratri. The school was beautifully decorated with traditional décor, symbolizing devotion and festivity. Students came dressed in vibrant traditional attire, adding charm to the celebrations. The highlight of the event was the gracious presence of the School President, Shri Saumil Sir, along with Ms. Suhani and family members. Their participation in the Aarti added spiritual significance to the celebration and made it truly special.
Students performed Garba with great enthusiasm, showcasing energy, rhythm, and devotion. Prizes were awarded for Best Dance Performance and Best Costume, which encouraged participation and joy among the students. The celebration of Navratri, which marks the triumph of good over evil and honors the power of devotion and discipline, gave students an opportunity to connect with Indian culture and values while experiencing unity and togetherness. The presence of the Principal, teachers, and students made the event a memorable and meaningful celebration.
Poetry Recitation Competition for Std. I & II
“Tiny Voices, Big Expressions!”
The Bright School organized a delightful Poetry Recitation Competition for students of Standard I and II on 1st August 2025, celebrating the joy of language and rhythm. The event aimed to encourage young learners to develop confidence, improve articulation, and enjoy the beauty of poetry.
Students came well-prepared with carefully chosen poems and used appropriate props to enhance their presentations. Their clear pronunciation, expressive delivery, and stage presence won the hearts of all present. The judges appreciated the creativity and enthusiasm of the participants. Events like these not only enrich language skills but also spark imagination and self-expression at an early age.
The Poetry Recitation was a heart-warming reminder of how even the youngest voices can leave a lasting impact.
Poster Making Competition
The Bright School conducted a vibrant Poster Making Competition for students of Std. V and VI, celebrating the fusion of creativity with meaningful themes. The event aimed to instill national values and environmental awareness in young minds through the power of art. Students of Std. V enthusiastically illustrated the theme “Unity in Diversity”, portraying how India thrives on its rich cultural, religious, and linguistic differences while standing united as one nation. Their posters reflected harmony, peace, and mutual respect, beautifully capturing the essence of India's strength.
For Std. VI, the theme was “Tree Plantation – Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam”, where students dedicated their posters to the idea of planting a tree in honour of their mothers. The artworks were touching tributes that combined love for nature with gratitude for motherhood, highlighting the students’ environmental consciousness and emotional depth.
The competition saw overwhelming participation and impressive creativity, with students conveying strong messages through colours, symbols, and slogans. Judges appreciated the thoughtfulness, effort, and imagination displayed by each participant. Events like these not only enhance artistic skills but also encourage children to think deeply about values that matter.

Mandala Art Competition Std. VII and VIII
The Bright School, Vasna Unit, organized a Mandala Art Competition for students of Std. VII and VIII with the aim of nurturing creativity, focus, and artistic expression among young learners. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation as students showcased their imagination through beautiful circular patterns, symmetry, and vibrant colors. Each artwork reflected patience, concentration, and a deep sense of harmony.
The competition not only gave students an opportunity to explore the traditional art form of Mandala but also encouraged mindfulness and relaxation through artistic creation. The judges appreciated the creativity, neatness, and originality displayed by the participants.
Elocution Competition
The Bright School organized an Elocution Competition for students of Std. III and IV, providing them with a wonderful platform to showcase their oratory skills and confidence in public speaking. The young participants spoke on a variety of engaging and age-appropriate topics, expressing their thoughts with clarity and enthusiasm. The event was marked by the students’ impressive preparation, stage presence, and ability to articulate their ideas effectively. It was heartening to see the budding speakers present their perspectives with confidence and creativity.
Such competitions not only enhance communication skills but also help in building self-confidence and instilling the spirit of healthy competition among students. The judges appreciated the efforts of all the participants and congratulated the winners for their outstanding performance. The event concluded with words of encouragement, motivating the students to continue honing their speaking abilities and overcome stage fear.

Tell - a - Tale Competition Std. V & VI
The Bright School recently organized a “Tell-a-Tale Competition” for students of Standard V and VI, which turned out to be a vibrant and engaging event. Young storytellers came forward with confidence, narrating stories from a wide range of categories including mythological tales, Panchatantra stories, Akbar–Birbal anecdotes, timeless fables, and real-life inspirational events.
Adding to the charm of the competition, participants dressed up as characters from their chosen stories, bringing the narratives alive with expressions, gestures, and creativity. The event not only showcased their storytelling skills but also enhanced their imagination, expression, and stage confidence.
The judges appreciated the efforts of all the participants, noting how beautifully they combined moral lessons with entertainment. The program truly reflected the school’s commitment to nurturing creativity, communication, and cultural awareness among its students.
