Annual Day Celebration - ‘Sapno Ki Udaan’
The Bright School celebrated the Annual Day for students of Std I to IV on December 20 at the Kusum Memorial Auditorium as part of its Silver Jubilee celebrations. The theme ‘Sapno Ki Udaan’ beautifully reflected the school’s journey of 25 years in nurturing young minds and helping dreams take flight.
The programme was graced by the esteemed presence of School President Shri Saumil Shah, whose guidance continues to inspire the school community. The event was further honoured by the presence of principals from various units of The Bright School and esteemed guest Ms. Suhani Shah, adding warmth and dignity to the celebration. The young students presented a series of vibrant and thoughtfully curated performances portraying their aspirations to become engineers, doctors, nurses, scientists, firefighters, sportspersons, environmentalists and defence personnel. Each presentation reflected how classroom learning and school experiences shape confidence, creativity and ambition in children.
In her address, Ms. Mala Patel, Principal, highlighted the key achievements of the academic year and reflected on the school’s remarkable journey over the past 25 years. She expressed heartfelt gratitude to the management, teachers, parents and students for their continued support and dedication. The spirit of the Silver Jubilee year was beautifully captured towards the conclusion of the programme through these poetic lines :
“पच्चीस सालों का ये सफर,
सिखाया हमें आगे बढ़ना।
हर ख्वाब को देंगे हम पंख,
हर मंज़िल को छू लेंगे हम।
विश्वास और हिम्मत के साथ,
उड़ेंगे हम अपनी सपनों की उड़ान।”
25th Annual Sports’ Meet
“Sports teach us to strive for excellence, embrace discipline, and celebrate teamwork.”
The Bright School (Vasna – GSEB) celebrated its Annual Sports Day 2025–26 with great enthusiasm and a strong spirit of sportsmanship. The event commenced with a disciplined march past by the four houses—Arjun, Ashoka, Pratap, and Shivaji—showcasing unity, coordination, and pride. A significant highlight of the programme was the Lighting of the Sports Torch, symbolising determination, courage, and fair play, followed by the Sports Oath, where students pledged to uphold honesty, integrity, and the true spirit of sports.
The Sports Meet was formally declared open by the School President, Shree Saumil Shah, marking the beginning of a day filled with energy, discipline, and healthy competition. The celebration began with impressive mass display performances, including a Free Hand Drill, a powerful Dumbbells and Lazium Exercise, a serene Yoga demonstration, and an energetic Zumba performance, reflecting the school’s emphasis on physical fitness, coordination, and holistic development. This was followed by a series of exciting on-ground competitive events such as running races, relay races, hurdle races, and basketball dribbling races, where students showcased speed, agility, endurance, and teamwork.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks, appreciating the dedicated efforts of the school management, staff, and students in making the Sports Day a memorable success.

Republic Day Celebration
The Bright School commemorated Republic Day with dignity, enthusiasm, and a strong sense of national pride. The celebration was thoughtfully designed to reflect the values of discipline, cultural richness, and collective responsibility.
The programme commenced with a smart and well-coordinated NCC march, highlighting the importance of discipline, leadership, and service to the nation. This was followed by an energetic band performance that created a spirited atmosphere and captured the attention of the audience. Students then presented a Mallakhamb performance, demonstrating remarkable strength, focus, and physical skill. The display reflected the richness of India’s traditional sports and the importance of physical fitness. Adding artistic elegance to the programme, a unique performance blending classical dance with modern movement showcased the students’ creativity and respect for cultural traditions.
A patriotic song presentation further enriched the event, evoking feelings of gratitude and respect for the country’s freedom fighters and constitutional values. The celebration concluded with the National Anthem, leaving everyone present with a renewed sense of responsibility towards the nation. The Republic Day programme was a meaningful experience that reinforced the ideals of unity, dedication, and pride in the nation, inspiring students to contribute positively to India’s future.
Quiz Competition - Std. III & IV
Bright School organized its annual Inter-House Quiz Competition for students of Std. 3 and 4, creating an exciting platform for young learners to showcase their knowledge, teamwork, and quick-thinking skills. Students from all houses participated with great enthusiasm, answering questions from categories such as General Knowledge, Science, Sports, Language, and Current Affairs. The competition was marked by lively interaction, healthy rivalry, and excellent team spirit. The winning house displayed remarkable confidence and presence of mind, earning well-deserved appreciation from teachers and peers.
The school congratulates all participants for their impressive efforts and thanks the teachers for guiding the students throughout the preparation.

“Spell-O-Fun” Competition - Std. I & II
The Bright School successfully organized a “Spell-O-Fun” Competition for the students of Standard I and II with great enthusiasm and active participation. The event aimed to strengthen spelling skills, enrich vocabulary, and build confidence among young learners in a joyful and engaging manner. The tiny participants displayed remarkable confidence and excitement as they spelled words suited to their age group. The competition created a lively learning environment and encouraged a healthy spirit of participation while nurturing a love for the English language.
The judges appreciated the efforts of the students and commended their preparation and performance. All participants were applauded and encouraged for their continued interest in learning. Such activities contribute significantly to the overall development of children by blending learning with fun.
Inter-House Quiz Competition - Std. V & VI
An Inter-House Quiz Competition was successfully held at The Bright School for students of Std V and VI. The event aimed to encourage general awareness, logical thinking, and teamwork among students. Participants from all houses enthusiastically took part in various rounds based on general knowledge, science, mathematics, and current affairs. The competition created an atmosphere of excitement and healthy rivalry, with students showing confidence, curiosity, and excellent preparation.
Teachers and Quiz masters appreciated the efforts of all participants and motivated them to continue learning beyond the classroom.
