INTACH FILM IT
The Bright school is thrilled to share a moment of great pride and achievement for their students' success. The students of The Bright participated in the Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH) in association with Film-It.
Film-It is a multi-cultural project that aims at nurturing cultural understanding, care, and concern among school children through the exciting experience of making and sharing films. It helps children to better understand the physical and cultural environment in which we live.
The Award winners are :
- The Best Documentary – Zareen Chasmawala (IX A)
- The Best Film Script – Nensi Thakkar and Nakshatra Narlekar (IX B)
- The Best Green Film – Tvesha Patel (IX A)
- The Best Narration – Yashvi Khant (VII D)
- The Best Editing – Pihu Shah (VII D)
- The Best Screenplay – Neel Vyas (IX A)
The school was also awarded the First Prize for the maximum number of films among the 34 participating schools of Vadodara. The school continues to encourage creative pursuits, recognizing the importance of art, technology, and storytelling in a holistic environment.
Kala Junction
“Brightians Shine at United Way of Vadodara Competition!”
A proud moment for The Bright School as our talented students have once again proved their mettle by securing top honors at the highly competitive event, Kala Junction, organized by United Way of Vadodara. Schools from across the city participated in various artistic and cultural contests.
In a stellar display of creativity, teamwork, and performance skills, our students won laurels in various categories :
- Mega Prize was awarded to the school for maximum participation of students in the Poster Making Competition.
- First Prize in the Skit Competition, where students of Std. VI and VII presented a drama on Social Change.
- Second Prize in Poster Making Competition was awarded to Vedanshi Jadav (IX-B)
- Second Prize in Essay Writing Competition was awarded to Priyam Parekh (X-E)
- A special recognition was given to Jeel Chauhan of Std. VI D for the Best Poster
This outstanding achievement is the result of the students' dedication, the guidance of their mentors, and the unwavering support of the school. Their hard work and enthusiasm truly embody the spirit of excellence that The Bright School strives for.

Sports Day Celebrations
"Sports Day is a celebration of perseverance, teamwork, and the triumph of spirit over limitations."
The Bright School successfully hosted its Annual Sports Day on 16th January for Std. V to IX and XI and on 17th January for Std. I to IV. Sports Day is a day showcasing outstanding sportsmanship and enthusiasm.
The day commenced with the colorful March Past by students from different houses captivating the audience, reflecting discipline and coordination. The school empowered its budding players to carry forward as torch bearers for Lighting the Torch ceremony. Then was the time for the most awaited segment of the sports fest, which is the declaration of the sports meet open by the School President, Shree Saumil Shah with the unfurling of the flag, the exciting sports expedition began, symbolizing the spirit of the games.
Track and field events like 100m sprints, hurdles and relay races kept the audience thrilled. The school also hosted engaging races for younger students like Ball Balancing with Disc, Three-Legged Races, and Basketball Juggling.
Special attractions included Yoga displays, Pyramids, Free-hand Drills, and Zumba. These activities display the discipline and coordination instilled in students by the School. The celebration wrapped up with the awarding of winners, filing the audience with joy, inspiration and energized for the year ahead.
Republic Day Celebrations
“United we stand diverse we thrive - Celebrating the spirit of India”
The Bright School celebrated the 76th Republic Day with great enthusiasm. The event commenced with the impressive NCC March Past, a soulful patriotic song by the schools choir and a dynamic Mallakhamb performance displaying strength and agility. The atmosphere vibrated with the Flag song adding to the patriotic sprit. The program concluded with the National Anthem. This memorable Republic Day is a testimony of the school’s commitment to nurturing patriotic values and fostering unity among its students and educators.
National Science Day Celebrations
“Wonders of Science with Bright School’s Budding Scientists of Tomorrow”
On February 28, 2025, Bright Day School (Primary, Secondary & Higher Secondary Section) celebrated National Science Day with an inspiring science exhibition, fostering scientific curiosity and a passion for exploration among students.
The event featured innovative projects and hands-on experiments crafted by our talented young minds, spanning diverse scientific fields such as physics, chemistry, biology, and environmental science. Through interactive displays, students demonstrated the real-world application of scientific concepts, making learning both engaging and insightful. Enthusiastic students from Std. I to VIII & Std. IX, XII actively participated, observing and learning from their peers as they explained various experiments with confidence and clarity. The event served as a vibrant platform for knowledge-sharing, where teachers and students engaged in thought-provoking discussions with the budding scientists.
The School President, Shri Saumil Shah, along with the School Principal, visited the exhibition, applauding the students’ efforts and encouraging them to cultivate a scientific temperament and an inquisitive mindset.
National Science Day remains a pivotal occasion, reaffirming the school’s dedication to nurturing a generation that values critical thinking, innovation, and scientific literacy. This exhibition stands as a testament to our commitment to instilling a lifelong love for science and discovery in young learners.
Annual Day Celebration - 'Nritya Sangam'
The Bright School Celebrates Annual Day 'Nritya Sangam' with a Spectacular Showcase of India’s Folk Dances. On 8th March 2025 the school hosted its grand Annual Day Celebration, bringing to life the rich and diverse folk dances of India. The event was a vibrant tribute to the country’s cultural heritage, beautifully blending tradition with artistic expression.
The event began with a warm welcome to the School President Shri Saumil Shah and heads of various units, followed by mesmerizing performances showcasing the unique dance forms of different states. From the high-energy beats of Bhangra to the graceful elegance of Bharatanatyam, and from the rhythmic charm of Rouf to the colorful twirls of Kajri, each performance reflected the spirit of India’s unity in diversity.
The School Report, highlighted the achievements of the school and praised the students for their dedication in making the event a resounding success. The Prize Distribution Ceremony honored outstanding academic and extracurricular achievers, celebrating their hard work and excellence.
The grand spectacle of folk dances left the audience mesmerized, receiving thunderous applause from parents, teachers, and guests. The program concluded with an inspiring message about preserving and celebrating India’s cultural legacy. With this Annual Day, ‘Nritya Sangam’ the school once again proved that education is not just about academics but also about embracing creativity, tradition, and the spirit of togetherness.
Twist A Tale
"Unleashing Imagination, One Story at a Time!"
The Twist A Tale competition was held on 31st January, 2025, Friday at The Bright School for the students of Std. V and VI. The participants eagerly took on the challenge, adding their own creative twists to the well-known stories. The event was a true celebration of storytelling, showcasing the originality and imaginative flair of our young learners.
The enthusiasm and creativity displayed during the competition were truly remarkable. It was a delight to witness how the students breathed new life into familiar tales, transforming them into exciting and unexpected narratives. The event was thoroughly enjoyed by the students, teachers, and judges, making it a memorable and inspiring experience for all.
Fancy Dress Competition
The Bright School organized a Fancy Dress Competition for the students of Std I & II. The event was a vibrant celebration of creativity, where young students dressed up as historical figures, community helpers, fairy tale characters, and environmental heroes, bringing their favorite themes to life.
The competition was to boost students' creativity, confidence, and stage presence. Each child enthusiastically performed, captivating the audience with their imaginative costumes and engaging portrayals. The event concluded with thunderous applause, leaving behind beautiful memories and reinforcing the school's commitment to nurturing young talent.
Sceince Quiz
"Science is not just a subject, but a way of thinking, experimenting, and discovering the wonders of the universe."
The Bright School organized an Inter-House Science Quiz Competition for the students of Std. VII & VIII on 14th February 2025. Science plays a crucial role in shaping our understanding of humans, the environment, the world, and the universe. Encouraging analytical thinking and a systematic approach to problem-solving, the competition aimed to foster scientific curiosity among students.
Participants from different houses engaged in a series of challenging rounds that tested their logical reasoning, observation skills, and scientific knowledge. One of the most exciting rounds required them to recognize objects, while another involved hands-on experiments, making the event both interactive and stimulating. With enthusiasm, determination, and a keen scientific spirit, the students tackled every round with confidence. Their zeal and indomitable willpower were evident as they competed with great enthusiasm, making the Science Quiz Competition a grand success.
"CPR WORKSHOP: EMPOWERING WITH LIFESAVING SKILLS”
As part of its ongoing commitment to students' safety, The Bright School organized a Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training workshop for teaching and non-teaching staff on 15th Feb '25.
The workshop aimed to equip educators with essential life-saving skills, empowering them to respond effectively to medical emergencies within the school environment. The workshop was conducted by Lifeline Foundation, an NGO based in Vadodara that pioneered emergency medical services in the country. Led by certified trainers, the session covered crucial topics such as:
- Recognizing signs of cardiac arrest
- Performing CPR
- Assisting choking victims
The participants actively participated in the practice of CPR on manikins and other practical sessions like dressing, bandaging, and checking vital signs in groups. Additionally, updating educators’ knowledge from accidents to cardiac emergencies was emphasized. Emergencies are unpredictable, but preparedness can make all the difference. By equipping teachers with CPR skills, the school created a safer and secured learning environment.
The workshop was well received, with teachers expressing confidence in their newfound skills. The school remains dedicated to fostering a safe and supportive environment for its students.
