International Yoga Day - 21.06.2024
Yoga is skill in action.
This shloka from the Bhagvat Gita underscores that yoga is not just about physical postures but about bringing mindfulness and skill into every action we perform. It teaches us to perform our duties with efficiency and excellence, integrating the principals of yoga into daily life.
The Bright School celebrated International Yoga Day on 21st June 2024 with great enthusiasm and participation from students, teachers and staff. The event aimed to promote physical, mental and spiritual well-being through the practice of yoga. The celebration commenced by highlighting the importance of yoga in daily life for the development of mind, body and soul. Students from various grades participated demonstrating a series of yoga asanas and meditating techniques. The session emphasized the significance of yoga in improving concentration, reducing stress, and enhancing overall health.
The school looks forward in continuing this tradition and expanding its efforts to promote a holistic development.
Gauri Vrat
The Bright School organized a vibrant celebration of Gauri Vrat, showcasing the rich cultural heritage and traditional values associated with this occasion.
The five day celebration saw an enthusiastic participation of girls in their best traditional attires. A significant part of the Vrat was the Morning Prayers by all the girls observing fast. Student also enjoyed the traditional fasting snacks and Prasad allowing everyone to partake in the ritualistic aspect of the Gauri Vrat.
Gurupurnima

The Bright School observed Guru Purnima on 20th July 2024 with heartfelt gratitude and celebration, paying tribute to the invaluable guidance and wisdom of teachers and mentors. The occasions started with a special assembly where students presented poems and songs for their teachers. The students made colourful and emotional cards for their teachers. Students also showed appreciation and gratitude for the school president Shri Saumil Shah by presenting him with their creativity. The day highlighted the profound impact of teachers and mentors in shaping lives and imparting knowledge. Student’s appreciation made the day memorable for the school..

Student Union Election - 28.06.2023
Young leaders of tomorrow.
The Bright School proudly announces the successful completion of the annual student’s Union Election for the academic year 2024-25. The election process, held on 28th June’24 marked by enthusiastic participation and a commendable display of democratic values by the students.
The student Union Election is a significant event in the school’s calendar providing student with a platform to voice their opinions, demonstrate leadership and actively participate in school governance. The election campaign was vibrate and included speeches and various promotional activities. Each candidate presented their vision and plans to improve the school environment and address student’s concern.
The voting process was conducted in a fair and transparent manner ensuring that every student from Std. VI onwards had the opportunity to participate. By the end of the day the results were also announced and new enthusiastic council member committee was formed.
The school extends its heartfelt congratulations to all its elected members. A special thanks to our School President and Election Commissioner Shri Saumil Shah, whose careful guidance helped in ensuring a smooth and fair election process.
Founder's Day - 03.07.2023
Remembering the remarkable life and legacy of our beloved School Founder Sir, Shree Jayendrabhai Shah. It is a day of reminiscence as we pay tribute to a visionary leader who lead the foundation for academic excellence and community growth. Sir believed that education had the power to uplift communities and build a brighter future.
To commemorate the Founder’s Day a memorial service was held in the School Auditorium where the School President Shree Saumil Shah, Principal, heads of various units and teachers gathered to honour the visionary educator.
Additionally on this day special activities were conducted in the class room for the students, focusing on the values and principles that our Jayendra Sir stood for compassion, integrity and perseverance.
It was an opportunity for the Bright school to reflect upon his teachings and strive to uphold the standards he envisioned for the School.
Investiture Ceremony - 04.07.2024
“Leadership and learning are indispensable to each other“ – John F. Kennedy
The Bright School organized its investiture ceremony on 6th July, honouring the newly elected student union. The event was graced by the presence of Police Inspector, Bhaili Shri Sanjay Karamta as Chief Guest, Shri Saumil Shah, esteemed President of The Bright School and Principals of various Units were also present to honour the occasion.
The celebration began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by all the distinguished guests, followed by a prayer dance and motivational song by the students. This symbolized the new journey of leadership for the Student Union.
The elected student leaders were formally introduced and the former Vice President of Student’s Union administered the oath of office, were the student leaders pledged to fulfil their duties with integrity and dedication. Student leaders received their badges from the respected guests, making the official start of their tenure.
In his keynote address, Police Inspector, Shri Sanjay Karamta spoke about the virtues of leadership and the importance of serving the community. He shared his experience and motivated the students to be responsible citizens and exemplary leaders.
The ceremony concluded with the National Anthem bringing a sense of unity and patriotism. The event was a remarkable success, inspiring the student leaders to lead with vision and commitment.
Recitation Competition (Std. I & II) - 12.07.2024
“Building Future Poets”
The Bright School organized the Recitation Competition on 12th July 2024 showcasing the incredible oratory talents of students of Std. I and II. The event took place at the Kusum Auditorium where young participant delivered array of poems with remarkable flair and confidence.
The competition was a part of the broader education initiative to encourage early literacy, enhance public speaking skills and build self-assurance among the young Brightians. Through engaging with poetry, students not only improved their language skills but also developed an appreciation for literature and the art.
The audience and the Judges were mesmerized with the interesting selection of poems by the young participants.
Story Telling Competition (Std. III & IV)
“Stories are a way to preserve the past, yet they are also a bridge to the future.”
The Bright School organized the storytelling competition for the students of standards III and IV. The event was a resounding success showcasing the creativity and storytelling of our young story weavers.
The stories ranged from adventurous journeys to heart-warming tales reflecting the diverse imaginations of the young participants. The competition was aimed at highlighting the talent and also encourage them to continue with reading skills. Participants engaged the Judges as well as the audience with their voice modulation and stage presence.
Poster Making Competition (Std. V & VI)
“Poster speaks louder than words, blending art and message to inspire and inform"
The Bright School recently held a vibrant Poster Making Competition for its student, celebrating creativity and visual communication.
The competition saw an enthusiastic participation of classes V and VI. The young artist displayed their artistic talent and conveyed powerful message through their posters. The competition aimed to enhance students designs skills and raise awareness on important themes like traffic rules, classroom etiquette, save earth and preserving our monuments.
