The Bright School Steps Proudly into its 25th Year
As The Bright School enters its 25th year of dedicated service in education, we stand at a moment of pride, reflection, and gratitude. This remarkable milestone is not just a passage of time, but a celebration of a legacy built on vision, commitment, and collective effort. We express our heartfelt gratitude to our revered late Founder Sir, Shree Jayendrabhai Shah, whose dream laid the foundation of this institution. His values continue to guide us every step of the way. We also extend our sincere appreciation to our respected President Sir, Shri Saumil Shah, whose steady leadership and vision have helped us grow stronger year after year.
This journey would not have been possible without the relentless efforts of our teaching and non-teaching staff, who have shaped young minds with dedication and care. We also acknowledge the unwavering support of our students, parents, and well-wishers who have been pillars of strength throughout this journey.

International Yoga Day - 21.06.2025
Yoga is skill in action — Bhagavad Gita 2.50
The Bright School celebrated International Yoga Day on June 21st with great enthusiasm, inspiring students to adopt yoga as a part of their daily lives. The celebration promoted the values of health, harmony, and mindfulness.
The day began with a special morning assembly where students recited shlokas and shared thoughts on the importance of yoga in building a balanced and positive life. This was followed by a mass yoga session, where students performed various asanas, pranayama, and meditation practices under the guidance of trained instructors. Adding creativity to the celebration, students across different classes made colourful posters and slogans on themes such as "One World, One Health" and "Importance of Yoga", which were displayed around the school campus to spread awareness.
The event successfully highlighted how yoga nurtures both body and mind and conveyed the message that yoga is a timeless gift for global well-being.
Gauri Vrat
The Bright School recently celebrated the traditional festival of Gauri Vrat with great devotion and enthusiasm. The event saw the participation of girls from Std. 1 to 8, who observed the vrat with sincerity and took part in the prayer ceremony held at the school premises.
Dressed in traditional attire, the students offered prayers and performed rituals, reflecting the values of purity, faith, and discipline that Gauri Vrat symbolizes. The celebration aimed to connect students with Indian culture and instill in them respect for age-old traditions.
The occasion was graced by the presence of the Principal and Ms. Suhani Shah, an esteemed member of the Shah family. Their presence encouraged and motivated the students to stay rooted in their values while continuing to grow academically and personally. The event concluded on a spiritual note with blessings and positive messages shared with the students, making the celebration a memorable one.
Guru Purnima
The Bright School celebrated the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima with great reverence and devotion through a special morning assembly held on the school campus. The event was marked by prayers, cultural expressions, and heartfelt tributes to the guiding lights—our Gurus.
The celebration began with a soulful Saraswati Vandana performed by the young students, invoking the blessings of Maa Saraswati, the goddess of knowledge and wisdom. The air was filled with devotion as students expressed their gratitude through prayer, song, and speech, highlighting the invaluable role of teachers in shaping minds and futures.
On this pious occasion, special wishes were extended to our respected School President, Shree Saumil Shah, whose visionary leadership continues to guide the institution towards excellence. The school community also remembered and acknowledged the contribution of all teachers, mentors, and elders who enlighten lives with knowledge and values.
The celebration served as a reminder of the deep cultural importance of Guru Purnima and helped instill a sense of respect and gratitude in the hearts of all present. The event concluded on a positive and spiritual note, reinforcing the bond between students and their mentors.
Student Union Election - 27.06.2025
The Bright School conducted its annual Students’ Union Election on 27th June 2025, providing students an opportunity to experience the democratic process and cultivate essential leadership skills. The election was organized under the esteemed guidance of Mr. Saumil Shah, President and Election Commissioner of The Bright School.
Students from various classes contested for positions including the President, General Secretary, Joint Secretary, House Captains and other key roles. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation, with students casting their votes in a well-structured, fair, and transparent manner.
This initiative aims to foster a sense of responsibility, teamwork, and belonging within the student community, while nurturing future leaders. The elected representatives will work closely with teachers and school authorities to contribute positively to the growth and spirit of The Bright School. The Bright School congratulates all candidates and wishes the newly elected Student Union a successful and enriching term.
Founder's Day - 03.07.2025
The Bright School paid a heartfelt tribute to its founder, Shree Jayendrabhai Shah, whose vision continues to shape every corner of the institution. The day began with a special morning assembly, where students and teachers reflected on the values Sir believed in – honesty, humility, and excellence in education.
Students of Classes 1 & 2 celebrated the spirit of school life through joyful classroom activities, drawing and sharing their thoughts on what makes The Bright School special to them.
In honour of this milestone, Classes 4 & 5 participated in a calligraphy writing activity, artistically writing “The Bright School – 25 Glorious Years,” symbolising both creativity and pride in their school’s journey. Students of Classes 7 & 8 expressed their admiration through a poster-making activity on the theme “Our Founder Sir’s Vision.” Each poster reflected the dreams, values, and path of progress laid out by Shree Jayendrabhai Shah.
The day came to a close with a prayer meet attended by all teachers. A soulful prayer song was sung in memory of our founder, followed by the recitation of one of his personally written poems, which left everyone touched and inspired.
Through every word, every memory, and every activity, the school honoured Sir’s life and teachings — and reaffirmed its promise to carry forward his noble legacy with the same dedication and love.
Unveiling of Founder Sir Shri Jayendrabhai Shah’s Statue at Bright Day School CBSE Vasna
In a heartfelt and solemn ceremony, Bright Day School unveiled the statue of its beloved Founder Sir, Shri Jayendrabhai Shah, whose visionary leadership laid the foundation of excellence in education. The event was graced by the presence of his family members, including Chairman Shri Simit Shah President Shri Saumil Shah, and other esteemed members of the Shah family.
The unveiling was not only a tribute to the man who nurtured countless young minds but also a reaffirmation of the school’s commitment to carrying forward his legacy of integrity, hard work, and dedication. Heads of various units of Bright Group of School were also present on this momentous occasion, offering their respect and gratitude.
Shri Jayendrabhai Shah was more than a founder — he was a mentor, guide, and a source of inspiration to all. His ideals will continue to live on in the hearts of students, staff, and the entire Bright family.
Investiture Ceremony - 04.07.2024
The Bright School held it’s Investiture Ceremony for the academic year 2025–26 with pride and enthusiasm, celebrating the spirit of leadership and responsibility. The ceremony was graced by Chief Guest Mr. V M Tank, Police Inspector, Vadodara Taluka Police Station (2008 Batch), along with President Mr. Saumil Shah and Principals of the various units of the school. The programme began with a graceful prayer dance, invoking blessings and setting a serene tone. This was followed by a motivational group song performed by the students, inspiring all to strive for excellence.
The newly elected student council was formally inducted through a dignified oath-taking ceremony, where the young leaders pledged to uphold the values of The Bright School with sincerity, discipline, and dedication. In his address, Mr. Tank delivered a powerful and inspiring message, encouraging students to lead with courage, honesty, and a sense of social responsibility. His words left a lasting impression on all present.
The event concluded with the National Anthem, filling the atmosphere with a sense of pride and unity. It was a truly memorable occasion that ignited the spirit of leadership among the students.
Storytelling Competition for Std III & IV
"Where Little Voices Weave Big Stories!"
The Bright School recently organized an engaging Storytelling Competition for students of Standard III and IV, aimed at nurturing imagination, confidence, and expressive skills in young learners. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation as students took the stage to narrate fascinating tales filled with morals, humor, and creativity. With expressive voices, animated gestures, and vivid storytelling techniques, the young storytellers captivated the audience and judges alike. From classic fables to modern creations, each story reflected the students' passion and preparation.
The competition emphasized the importance of storytelling as a powerful tool to build language skills and confidence. It not only highlighted the students' talents but also strengthened their love for literature and performance arts.
Mono Acting Competition
A captivating Mono Acting Competition was organized at The Bright School for the students of Standard V and VI, where young performers mesmerized the audience by portraying historical figures, real-life characters, literary characters and famous personalities with great enthusiasm and talent.
The stage turned into a vibrant gallery of living legends as students confidently enacted the roles of Rani Lakshmibai, Swami Vivekananda, Harry Potter, Snow White and many others. Their powerful performances reflected not only dramatic skills but also deep admiration and understanding of these great individuals’ lives and values.
The event was graced by the presence of Principal Ms Mala Patel, along with judges and teachers, who applauded the efforts and creativity of the young artists. The competition aimed to enhance students’ public speaking, confidence, and awareness of inspiring personalities.
Winners were encouraged with words of praise and applause for their effort and spirit.
Debate Competition for Std. VII & VIII
Ideas in Action – One Argument at a Time.
The Bright School recently organized an exciting Debate Competition for students of Standards VII and VIII, encouraging them to develop critical thinking and public speaking skills. The event saw enthusiastic participation from students who showcased confidence, clarity, and excellent reasoning abilities.
The topic for Standard VII was :- “Is Climate Change the Biggest Threat to Our Future?”
Students passionately expressed their views on the impact of climate change, offering well-researched arguments and real-world examples.
The topic for Standard VIII was :- “Should Coding Be a Mandatory Subject in High School?”
Participants highlighted the growing importance of coding in today’s digital age, debating its role in modern education and future careers. The panel of judges praised the students for their preparation, clarity of thought, and persuasive delivery. The event served as a platform for young minds to voice their opinions and learn the art of respectful disagreement. Such competitions inspire students to think deeply, speak effectively, and grow into informed global citizens.
