The Bright School proudly celebrates the outstanding achievement of Master Abhigyan Ajaykumar Tripathi, who has earned national and international recognition through his exceptional performance in the SOF National Science Olympiad (NSO) 2025–26.
Demonstrating remarkable scientific aptitude and academic excellence, Abhigyan secured International Rank 4 and Zonal Rank 4 in the Gujarat, Daman & Diu, and Dadra & Nagar Haveli Zone. His achievement is particularly significant as the Science Olympiad Foundation's examinations witnessed participation from over 99,000 schools across 72 countries, making it one of the largest academic competitions in the world.
In recognition of this stellar accomplishment, Abhigyan has been awarded the SOF NSO Zonal Gold Medal, a cash prize of ₹1,250, and a Certificate of Zonal Excellence. The management, Principal, and staff of The Bright School extend their heartfelt congratulations to Abhigyan on this remarkable feat. Guinness World Record!
Eleven Bright School Students Shine in Guinness World Record Achievement.
The Bright School proudly celebrates a moment of immense pride as 11 of its students participated in the Largest Simultaneous Hindu Text Recital, which created a Guinness World Record with 12,723 participants. The remarkable feat was achieved by the International Children's Forum of Bochasanwasi Shri Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS) in Vadodara on 2 February 2026, bringing together thousands of young participants in a grand celebration of India's spiritual and cultural heritage.

Young Author Publishes His First Book
The Bright School, Vasna, proudly congratulates Dvait Desai, a student of Std. V, on the publication of his book, Camping with Friends, through BriBooks, a leading creative writing platform for children. Inspired by his love for travel and exploration, Dvait has created an engaging story that showcases his imagination and storytelling skills. His achievement at such a young age reflects creativity, confidence, and a passion for writing.

Silver Jubilee Celebration & Auditorium Inauguration
The Bright School Celebrates Silver Jubilee with Joy and Gratitude. The Bright School proudly celebrated its Silver Jubilee, marking 25 glorious years of excellence in education and holistic development. The institution’s remarkable journey began on 18th June 2001, and since then, the school has grown into a nurturing center of learning, values, and achievement.
The campus was filled with an atmosphere of joy and celebration as students and staff came together to commemorate this significant milestone. A special highlight of the occasion was the plantation ceremony conducted by the School President, Shri Saumil Shah, in the esteemed presence of Ms. Suhani, along with the Principal, students, and teachers. This meaningful act symbolized growth, sustainability, and the nurturing values that the school upholds.
The event also provided an opportunity to fondly remember the visionary Founder Sir, Shri Jayendrabhai Shah, whose legacy continues to inspire generations. Adding to the celebrations, a new milestone was achieved with the inauguration of the state-of-the-art auditorium at the new school campus. In honor of the Founder Sir, the auditorium has been named the J. R. Shah Auditorium, serving as a lasting tribute to his invaluable contributions and vision.
The Silver Jubilee celebration reflected on the school’s inspiring journey and reaffirmed its commitment to shaping young minds and building a brighter future.
INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY
The Bright School celebrated International Yoga Day with great enthusiasm and spirit. Although International Yoga Day is ideally observed on 21st June, the school marked the occasion today with active participation from students and teachers. International Yoga Day was first proposed by India at the United Nations and has been celebrated globally since 2015, highlighting the importance of yoga in maintaining physical health, mental well-being, and inner peace. On this occasion, students were encouraged to adopt yoga as a way of life for a healthier and more balanced future. The celebration included a series of yoga asanas demonstrated by the students with great discipline and energy. The session was conducted under the guidance and supervision of the sports teacher, who also educated the students about the significance and benefits of regular yoga practice.

Gauri Vrat
The Bright School, Vasna Unit, observed the auspicious occasion of Gauri Vrat with devotion and spiritual fervour. The campus resonated with an atmosphere of faith and festivity as girls, dressed in colourful attire, enthusiastically participated in the celebration while observing the sacred fast dedicated to Goddess Gauri.
Gauri Vrat is a revered festival celebrated predominantly in Gujarat by young girls. Dedicated to Goddess Gauri, the embodiment of purity, strength, and prosperity, the vrat symbolizes devotion, self-discipline, and the aspiration for a blessed and fulfilling future. The festival also reflects India's rich cultural heritage and encourages the younger generation to remain connected with its timeless traditions.
The celebration began with a special puja, during which the girls offered prayers with deep reverence and sought the blessings of Goddess Gauri. The devotional ambience created a serene and spiritually uplifting experience for everyone present.
The President of The Bright School, Shri Saumil Shah, and the Principal participated in the puja and offered prayers along with the students, adding significance to the celebration through their gracious presence. The Gauri Vrat celebrations will continue over the next five days with the same spirit of devotion and enthusiasm, providing students with an opportunity to celebrate and cherish the rich cultural traditions associated with this sacred festival.
Guru Purnima Celebration – A Tribute to the Guiding Lights of Life
"ध्यानमूलं गुरोर्मूर्तिः पूजामूलं गुरोः पदम्।
मन्त्रमूलं गुरोर्वाक्यं मोक्षमूलं गुरोः कृपा॥"
(Meaning: The Guru is the foundation of meditation, the Guru's feet are the foundation of worship, the Guru's words are the source of wisdom, and the Guru's grace leads one towards the highest path in life.)
With profound reverence and gratitude, The Bright School, Vasna Unit, celebrated Guru Purnima with a special morning assembly dedicated to honouring the invaluable role of teachers in shaping the lives of students. Guru Purnima is celebrated on the auspicious full moon day (Purnima) of the Hindu month of Ashadha. The tradition of celebrating this sacred day began in honour of Maharishi Ved Vyasa, the great sage who compiled the Vedas and authored the Mahabharata. It is a day devoted to expressing gratitude to Gurus, whose wisdom enlightens minds, nurtures character, and guides individuals on the path of knowledge and righteousness.
The special assembly featured soulful prayers, inspiring speeches, devotional songs, and thoughtful presentations that highlighted the significance of Guru Purnima in a student's life. Students expressed their heartfelt gratitude by seeking the blessings of their teachers, acknowledging them as mentors who inspire, motivate, and guide them towards excellence with patience, compassion, and dedication. A special homage was paid to the revered Founder of The Bright School, Shri Jayendrabhai Shah, whose visionary leadership, blessings, and timeless values continue to illuminate the path of the institution. His unwavering commitment to holistic education, discipline, and character building remains deeply embedded in the ethos of the school, inspiring generations of students and educators to strive for excellence.

Students Union Election - 29.06.2026
Bright School witnessed an atmosphere of enthusiasm, responsibility, and democratic spirit as the School Union Elections were conducted in a manner closely resembling the real-life electoral process. Students from Classes VI onwards actively participated as both candidates and voters, making the event a memorable learning experience.
The election process began several days in advance with the filing of nomination papers by aspiring candidates. This was followed by the allotment of election symbols, campaigning, and seeking support from fellow students. The entire campus buzzed with election fever as candidates confidently presented their vision and appealed for votes. On the day of polling, students exercised their franchise through a well-organised and computerized voting process. To recreate the authenticity of a general election, every voter had their finger marked with indelible ink after casting their vote. The excitement among the young voters was evident as many experienced the democratic process for the first time.
The elections were conducted smoothly and transparently under the supervision of the School Election Commissioner, Mr. Saumil Shah, ensuring fairness and discipline throughout the proceedings. After the completion of voting, the votes were counted through the computerized system, and the results were declared amid great excitement and applause. The School President appreciated the students for their active participation and commended the organisers for conducting the elections efficiently. Such initiatives help nurture responsible, informed, and socially aware citizens while instilling the values of democracy and leadership among students. The School Union Elections proved to be an enriching educational experience, blending practical learning with civic responsibility in a truly inspiring manner.
Investiture Ceremony
Bright School proudly conducted its Investiture Ceremony, marking the official induction of the newly elected Student Council for the academic year. The ceremony was graced by Commander Sidharth Rawat as the Guest of Honour. A distinguished officer, Commander Rawat has served in his 12th appointment, contributed to the prestigious Naval Academy Project, and has been actively involved in the conclusion of syllabus revision, INARIF, new facilities, and faculty restructuring.
The ceremony began with the formal oath-taking and the presentation of badges to the student leaders. Addressing the gathering, Commander Rawat inspired students to remain focused on their goals and reminded them that dedication, discipline, and hard work are the keys to success. School President Shri Saumil Shah congratulated the newly elected council members and encouraged them to lead with integrity, responsibility, and a spirit of service.
The programme was attended by the Principals of the various units of Bright School, along with teachers and students. The ceremony concluded on a patriotic note with the National Anthem.

The Bright School Pays Heartfelt Tribute to Founder Shri Jayendrabhai Shah on Founder's Day
As a prelude to Founder's Day to be observed on 3rd July, The Bright School fondly remembered its beloved founder, Shri Jayendrabhai Shah, through a series of meaningful activities that reflected his vision and values. The day commenced with a special assembly, where students and teachers paid homage to the founder and recalled his inspiring journey, dedication to education, and lifelong commitment to nurturing responsible citizens.
Students from different classes participated enthusiastically in activities designed to celebrate the founder's ideals. Tiny tots of Standards 1 and 2 creatively prepared the school logo, showcasing their love and pride for the institution. Students of Standards 6 and 8 expressed their thoughts through poster-making, while students of the higher classes penned heartfelt write-ups on the values and life lessons they have imbibed from the founder's vision and the school's ethos.
The observance concluded with teachers offering a special tribute by sharing cherished memories and teachings of Shri Jayendrabhai Shah. The gathering also joined together in prayer, creating an atmosphere of gratitude, reverence, and unity. The Bright School, Vasna Unit – GSEB successfully organized an English Poem Recitation Competition for the students of Std. I and II. The event provided a wonderful platform for the young learners to showcase their confidence, pronunciation, expression, and stage presence. The participants recited a variety of delightful poems with great enthusiasm and confidence. Dressed in attractive costumes and using creative props, the students brought their poems to life, making each performance engaging and memorable. Their expressive gestures, voice modulation, and cheerful presentations reflected their preparation and love for the English language.
The audience thoroughly enjoyed the lively performances and applauded the efforts of every participant. The competition encouraged students to overcome stage fear, develop communication skills, and nurture creativity from an early age. Act and Advertise Competition - Std. III
The Bright School, Vasna Unit, successfully organized an exciting Act and Advertise Competition for the students of Std. III. The event provided a wonderful platform for young learners to showcase their creativity, communication skills, and stage confidence. The participants enthusiastically promoted a variety of products such as watches, chocolates, mathematical pens, creams, and many more through innovative and engaging advertisements. Adding a unique touch to their presentations, several students composed and performed their own catchy jingles, making their acts lively and memorable.
Dressed appropriately for their roles, the students displayed remarkable confidence, clear expression, and graceful stage presence. Their imaginative ideas, persuasive communication, and energetic performances transformed the competition into a vibrant celebration of creativity and talent. The exceptional efforts of the students, coupled with the wholehearted support and creative guidance of their parents, made every presentation unique and impressive. The high standard of performances made it an extremely challenging task for the judges to select the winners. The lively atmosphere, enthusiastic participation, and outstanding teamwork between students and parents truly made the event a grand success, leaving everyone inspired and delighted.
Best Out of Waste Competition – Creativity with a Purpose
To nurture creativity and foster environmental responsibility among young learners, The Bright School, Vasna Unit, organized a Best Out of Waste Competition for the students of Std. IV. The event encouraged children to transform discarded materials into useful and attractive creations, reinforcing the importance of the three R's—Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle.
The students amazed everyone with their imagination and craftsmanship by creating a wide range of innovative items such as paper earrings, artistic artefacts, measuring bottles, pen stands, decorative pieces, and many other functional objects using waste materials. Each exhibit reflected originality, creativity, and thoughtful use of everyday discarded items.
The competition served as an excellent platform for students to realize that even the simplest waste materials can be transformed into something valuable with imagination and effort. By introducing the value of reuse at a young age, the event inspired children to develop sustainable habits and become environmentally conscious citizens. The remarkable creativity and dedication displayed by the students, along with the enthusiastic support of their parents, made the competition truly exceptional. The impressive quality of the entries posed a delightful challenge for the judges in selecting the winners. The event concluded with a strong message that every small effort towards reusing and recycling contributes to protecting our planet for future generations.

Health and Hygiene Awareness Workshop for Girls
To promote health awareness and personal well-being among young adolescents, The Bright School, Vasna Unit, organised an informative workshop on menstruation and menstrual hygiene for the girls of Std. V and VI. The session was conducted by Dr. Noopur H. Patel, an experienced gynaecologist with an MBBS, a Diploma in Gynaecology and Obstetrics (DGO), a FOGSI Fellowship in Ultrasonography (USG), and advanced fellowships in Surgical and Non-Surgical Cosmetic Gynaecology. During the interactive session, Dr. Patel explained the physical and emotional changes associated with adolescence and emphasized the importance of personal hygiene, self-care, and healthy lifestyle practices. She sensitively addressed common myths and misconceptions surrounding the monthly cycle, encouraging the girls to view it as a natural and healthy part of growing up. The students actively participated in the session, asked questions, and benefited from the informative and interactive discussion.
The Principal graced the occasion and appreciated the initiative, highlighting the importance of equipping young girls with accurate knowledge and fostering confidence to make informed health and hygiene choices.
