150 Glorious Years of Vande Mataram
"Vande Mataram — the song that awakened the soul of our nation."

Students were made aware of its historical significance and the role it played in uniting Indians during the freedom struggle. The event highlighted the spirit of patriotism, unity, and devotion to the motherland.
Students also learned about Bankim Chandra Chatterjee, the great writer and patriot who composed Vande Mataram in his novel Anandamath in 1875. His inspiring words glorify India as the Mother Goddess and evoke a deep sense of love and sacrifice for the nation.
The celebration continued with a soulful rendition of the National Song by students, filling the atmosphere with patriotic fervour. The programme concluded with all taking a solemn oath to promote the spirit of Swadeshi and contribute to the nation’s progress. The day served as a reminder of the timeless values of love, unity, and respect for our country that Vande Mataram continues to inspire.
