Narmad Meghani Singing Competition
We are delighted to announce that our proficient students have emerged victorious in the All India Democratic Students Organization’s Narmad Meghani Inter-School Singing Competition, where they faced tough competition from 21 schools. With golden voice, dedication, pitch perfection, our shining stars claimed the First Position in the Group Singing Category. Our winners made an indelible impression on the judges and audience with their soulful singing.
Our very own Ruchita Jamariya from Class X-B bagged the Third Position in the Solo Singing Competition with her enchanting vocals.

Independence Day Celebrations
This year we celebrated 79th Independence Day in our school on the theme HAR GHAR TIRANGA HAR GHAR SWACCHTA. The days from August 11 to August 14, 2025, were celebrated as Independence Day week.
The various activities were conducted for different classes.
- Std. IX
- The students were asked to do role play on any of the event that took place during freedom struggle.
- They were asked to write an essay on Topic-How the younger generation can contribute the country progress.
- Std. X
- Students were asked to deliver speech of any freedom fighter in the class.
- Std. XI & XII
- They were asked to gather information about unsung heroes of freedom movement and read in class. They were asked to deliver the values and teachings of any of our leader.
Teachers Day Celebrations
Teacher’s Day is a special occasion celebrated in India to honour our educators and acknowledge their significant contributions to society. It coincides with the birthday of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, a revered philosopher, teacher, and the second President of India. Bright Day School celebrated Teacher's Day on 4th September this year. The students took the role of teachers and wholeheartedly participated in the celebrations. The deep prospect of inculcating the responsibility of education among the new generation was acquired.
Ganesh Chaturthi Celebrations
Ganesh Chaturthi, one of the most revered festivals celebrates the birth of Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles and the harbinger of good fortune. This festival, observed on the fourth day (Chaturthi) of the bright half of the month of Bhadrapada, is marked by immense enthusiasm and devotion across India.
The festival commemorates the birth of Lord Ganesha, the elephant-headed deity, who is worshipped as the god of wisdom, prosperity, and good fortune.

- Idol Installation: A beautifully crafted idol of Lord Ganesha was installed in the school.
The Ganesh Chaturthi celebration in school was a resounding success, bringing joy, learning, and cultural enrichment to the students and staff. It was a wonderful way to promote cultural awareness, creativity, and community bond.
Sanskrit Diwas Celebrations
Sanskrit Day is celebrated as it raises awareness, promotes the study and use of Sanskrit language in our today’s life. Sanskrit language is celebrated as it emphasizes our rich history and cultural significance. Historian honours Sanskrit as a foundation language for many Indian texts and languages. This day serves as a tribute to Sanskrit’s enduring intellectual and linguistic contributions to disciplines like philosophy, literature and science encouraging people to learn and preserve this ancient language.
Students recited shlokas with their translation, talked about famous personalities like Kalidas, Vivekanand, Gandhi and special to mention our beloved Shri Jayendra Shah sir.
Hindi Diwas Celebrations
हर साल हमारी स्कूल के‘ हिन्दी दिवस ’ मनाया जाता है उसी तरह इस साल भी दिनांक 13 सितम्बर को मनाया गया था। छात्रों और शिक्षकों ने बड़े उत्साह से भाग लिया था।

जैसी प्रवृत्तियाँ रखी गई थी। इस कार्यक्रम का आरंभ कवि ‘ हरिवंशराय बच्चनजी ’ की कविता ‘ कोशिश करनेवालों की कभी हार नहीं होती ’ से हुआ था। इस कार्यक्रम में छात्रों ने अपना हिन्दी प्रेम दिखाया था। शिक्षक ने हिन्दी भाषा के रूप में हिन्दी महत्त्व समझाया और उदाहरण देकर हिन्दी की उपयोगिता पर प्रकाश डाला। इस कार्यक्रम में कई छात्रों ने कविताएँ सुनाई, कहानियाँ सुनाई और नाटिकाएँ भी प्रस्तुत की गई। शिक्षक ने सभी छात्रों को समझाया की राष्ट्रभाषा के अभाव में क्या – क्या समस्याएँ खड़ी होती है। अंत में शिक्षक ने सभी छात्रों को ‘ हिन्दी दिवस ’ की शुभकामनाएँ दि, छात्रों का आभार व्यक्त किया और राष्ट्रगीत के साथ कार्यक्रम संपूर्णरुप से सम्पन्न हुआ।.
Navratri Celebrations
India, the home of unparalleled cultural richness, glitters in joy to celebrate its most anticipated festive seasons, its deeply ingrained customs and spirituality. Navratri is an important Hindu festival that is observed with significant devotional fervor in various parts of India and Indian diaspora all over the globe. The word 'Navratri' has been derived from the Sanskrit word 'nava,' meaning nine and 'ratri' or night, thereby describing it as "nine nights."
Bright Day School Celebrated this festival with great fervour. Students and teachers were dressed up in best traditional attires. They enjoyed garba and timli dances on beat of folk garba songs and music. Best performers were awarded.

Our school premises played host to an exciting General knowledge Quiz for Std IX students. This engaging competition aimed to provide students with a platform to showcase their problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and presence of mind.
The quiz presented a unique opportunity for students to face challenging questions that tested their knowledge and understanding of mathematical concepts, scientific theories, and real-world applications. By participating in this competition, students were able to assess their skills, learn from their peers, and demonstrate their academic prowess. The quiz fostered a spirit of healthy competition, encouraging students to strive for excellence and emerge victorious. The event was a resounding success, with students displaying exceptional talent and enthusiasm. We congratulate all participants and look forward to future events that promote academic excellence and teamwork."
