Talent Search Exam (2025-2026)
The students of class IX, Bright Day School appeared for Talent Search Exam conducted by Gujarat Secondary Education Board (state Level) on 28th January 2026. The main aim of Talent Search Exam is to identify and nurture academically gifted students across Gujarat. This exam as name suggest find out the hidden talent in the children. The top scorers of Bright Day School who not only secured more than 99 percentile but also a cheque worth 1000/- as a token for excellent performance at state level. Their names are as follows :

International Yoga Day - 20.06.2026
Bright Day School celebrated International Yoga Day with great enthusiasm and active participation from students and teachers on 20th June. The programme highlighted the importance of yoga in promoting physical health, mental well-being, and inner peace. Students performed various yoga asanas and breathing exercises under the guidance of trained instructors. They also learned about the benefits of practicing yoga regularly, such as improving concentration, flexibility, and overall fitness. The event encouraged everyone to adopt yoga as a part of their daily routine for a healthier and more balanced life. The Principal appreciated the efforts of the participants and emphasized that yoga is a valuable gift that helps individuals lead a disciplined and healthy life. The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks, leaving everyone inspired to continue practicing yoga every day.
Student Council Elections
Bright School conducted its Student Council Elections on 29th June 2026 with great enthusiasm, discipline and democratic spirit. The purpose of the elections was to develop leadership qualities, responsibility, and democratic values among students. Students from Classes VI to XII participated actively and filed nominations for the posts of Vice President, General Secretary, Sports Captain, Science Captain, and House Captains. The voting was conducted through secret ballot during school hours. Students cast their votes responsibly. The counting was done by teachers and the results were announced on the same day.

Investiture Ceremony : 06-07-2026
Bright School held its Investiture Ceremony on 6th July 2026 with great pride and enthusiasm. The ceremony marked the official formation of the new Student Council for the academic year 2026–27. The event began with a prayer dance and a motivational song that set a positive and inspiring tone.
The newly elected council members, including Vice President, General Secretary, Sports Captain, Science Captain, and House Captains, were formally invested with badges and sashes by our esteemed President Sir Saumil Shah, Chief Guest Mr. Siddharth Makwana, Commanding Officer, Naval Division, and the Principal. The outgoing Vice President administered the oath of office. The student leaders pledged to uphold the values of the school and carry out their duties with sincerity, discipline, and dedication. The Chief Guest, in his speech, spoke about the importance of leadership, responsibility, and teamwork.
The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks followed by the National Anthem. It was truly a proud moment for the entire Bright School family.
Elocution Competition
Bright Day School successfully organized an Elocution Competition on 16th July to encourage students to develop confidence, communication skills, and the art of public speaking. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across various classes, who spoke on a wide range of thought-provoking and inspiring topics.
The participants impressed the audience with their clarity of thought, confidence, pronunciation, and expressive delivery. Their speeches reflected creativity, knowledge, and excellent presentation skills. The competition was judged on content, fluency, voice modulation, expression, confidence, and overall impact. The respected judges appreciated the efforts of all the participants and encouraged them to continue honing their speaking abilities. Every participant received applause for their dedication and courage.
The competition concluded with a vote of thanks, leaving everyone inspired by the power of words and effective communication. The event proved to be a valuable learning experience and further strengthened students' confidence and leadership qualities.
