Stress Management Seminar - 10th December 2025
Our school organized a Stress Management Workshop conducted by Mr. Sumit Ghoshal to help students of Std. X to deal with academic pressure and develop healthy study habits. The session focused on effective study techniques and simple practices to reduce stress during examination time.
Mr. Ghoshal explained that stress is natural, but it can be controlled with proper planning and discipline. He spoke about the importance of increasing efficiency and proficiency instead of studying for long hours without concentration. He introduced the PQRST learning technique (Preview, Question, Read, Self-recite, Test) to help students retain information better.
The workshop also included practical exercises such as box breathing, where students were taught to inhale, hold, exhale, and hold again for equal counts. This technique helps relax the mind and improve focus. He encouraged students to solve previous question papers to build confidence and reduce exam anxiety.
Mr. Ghoshal strongly advised limiting mobile use and maintaining a healthy lifestyle with nutritious food, regular sleeps, and physical activity. He also encouraged students to use AI tools responsibly for learning support, but not depend entirely on them.
Overall, the workshop was informative and beneficial. It motivated students to adopt healthy habits, develop time management skills, and prepare for exams with a calm and positive mindset.
