Mehaan R. Kotadia of VII-A Secured 1st Prize in Drawing Competition organised by Community Science centre. He also achieved 3rd Shared Prize in ( Cat.A.) Interschool and Inter Department on the spot Drawing & Painting / Poster Competition Organised by Socleen Society for Clean Environment.
Open Asia Cup International Tournament
Anshika P. Dhavat from Std. II B won Silver and Bronze at open Asia Cup International Tournament at Andheri.
Handwriting and Memory Master
Handwriting and Memory Master Competitions were held on 19th July 2025, Saturday. The competitions were designed to enhance the students memory skill and promote neat and legible handwriting.
Memory Master Competition tested the recalling power and mental alertness of the students, while handwriting competition encouraged neatness creativity and presentation.
The teachers and judges praised the students for their active participation and outstanding efforts. The winners were awarded certificates and accolades during the school assembly, motivating others to strive for the excellence.

Quiz Competition - Std. V to VIII
The Quiz Competition was organized at Shri J.R. Shah Bright School with great enthusiasm and active participation. The event was held on 15th September 2025 for students of Class V & VI and on 17th September 2025 for Class VII & VIII.
The competition aimed to enhance the knowledge, quick thinking, and teamwork of the students. Participants confidently answered questions from various fields such as general knowledge, science, literature, mathematics, and current affairs.
Students showed keen interest, and the atmosphere was full of excitement and learning. The winners were applauded and awarded for their excellent performance. The winner team was qwarded for their outstanding performance, and all participants were encouraged for their efforts. The event was a grand success, adding both fun and knowledge of student life.

Rakshabandhan
Rakshabandhan celebration held on 9th August 2025 at Shri J R Shah Bright School.The celebration was marked with joy, enthusiasm and cultural vibrance. The young students tied beautiful , hand made rakhi to one another symbolising the sacred bond of the love and protection between the siblings. Teachers guided the children in understanding the significance of this beautiful festival emphasizing values like brotherhood, care and respect.
Kanha Janmotsav
Shri J R Shah Bright School celebrated Janmashtami Mohatsav on 13th August 2025, Wednesday marked the divine birth of Lord Krishna with vibrant musical beats and exuberant dance performance. The event was a beautiful blend of dance and drama, brought to life, by enthusiastic preparation of the students from Grade 1 to Grade 8.
Children took the stage with great energy and devotion, performing traditional dances, enacting episode from Lord Krishna’s life and showcasing their talents through colourful costumes and expressive storytelling. Their heartfelt performances created an atmosphere spiritual joy and festive cheer.
Matki Phod
Matki Phod programme was held on14th August 2025, Thursday which was celebrated joyfully which brought a festive spirit to the campus. The students participated in various traditional activities inspired by the playful deeds of Lord Krishna.
The highlight of the celebration was the “Dahi handi” which was broken by the standard 1st students dressed as Lord Krishna. The celebration was concluded with arti, distribution of prasad and swinging Lord Krishna in his cradle with spiritual joy and festive cheer.
Ganesh Chaturthi Celebration
The school celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi with great devotion and enthusiasm on Tuesday, 26th August 2025. The celebration was marked by the grand procession, which included the inspiring presence of army troops. The march of the soldiers filled the atmosphere with the pride and patriotism. Alongside, students dressed in the traditional costumes of different states of India took part in the processions beautifully showcasing “Unity in Diversity”.
Cultural performances, devotional songs and dance presentations added charm to the celebration. Students expressed their devotions through prayer and bhajans, while teachers guided the importance of Ganesh Chaturthi in promoting the values of knowledge humanity and togetherness.
The entire school campus was decorated with flowers , rangolis and an eco friendly Ganesh idol ,creating a divine atmosphere. Ganesh Sthapana, ceremony was done by our Chairman Dr. Simit J Shah. All the sectional heads, parents, teachers and students participated with deep devotion.
The celebration concluded with an arti and distribution of prasad, leaving everyone with spiritual joy and festive cheer. The event was a blend of devotion, discipline and cultural pride making it a memorable occasion for the Bright School family.
Anakut
29th August 2025, Friday the programme began with prayers and offerings, followed by Annakut where a variety of snacks and sweets were beautifully arranged and offered to Lord Ganesha. Students, teachers and staff actively took part in the rituals.
Shree Ganesh Visarjan
On 30th August 2025,Saturday the programme began with prayers and arti. Later, the Ganesh Visarjan procession was carried out in a joyful and disciplined manner filled with chants and music. The celebration concluded with a message of unity, devotion and ecofriendly practice.

Teacher's Day Celebration
On 4th September 2025,Thursday2025 Bright School celebrated Teacher's Day in fond remembrance of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishna, the great teacher, philosopher and former president of India. The celebration was filled with respect, joy and gratitude towards teachers.
A special highlight of the event was that children enacted the role of Chairman, Principal, Supervisors, Teachers and other staff members taking charge of school with enthusiasm. The role-play helped the students experience the responsibilities of teachers and leaders.
The programme began with a special assembly, including prayers and speeches dedicated to teachers. The Principal appreciated the efforts of the students and reminded everyone of the significance of this day. The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks and distribution of sweets, leaving behind beautiful memories.
Navratri Celebration
Navratri is an important Hindu festival that celebrates the victory of good over evil. It is dedicated to Goddess Durga and her nine divine forms. People observe fasting, perform prayers, and worship the goddess with great devotion. It symbolizes the power of truth, purity, and righteousness. Cultural programs like Garba and Dandiya are organized during these nine days. Navratri spreads the message of peace, faith, and spiritual strength in society.
Navratri Mahotsav was celebrated in Shri J. R. Shah Bright School on 27th September 2025 with great enthusiasm and colourful decorations. Students and teachers came dressed in traditional attire and participated in Garba and Dandiya performances.The school campus was beautifully decorated with lights and flowers.Everyone worshipped Goddess Durga and prayed for peace and prosperity. The celebration reflected the spirit of unity, culture, and devotion. It was a joyful and memorable event for all.
