School Opening Day
Another school year started on 13th June for std II to VIII and 14th June for std I with a promise of self-growth, to achieve success. Enthusiastic students came cheerfully to start another brilliant year. They were welcomed by Principal Madam Rita Kantharia, Supervisors, class teachers and non-teaching staff. A special assembly was conducted by the teachers in order to welcome the children after long summer vacation. The students were acquainted with the general rules of the school. They were motivated with a speech for happy, prosperous and a successful year ahead.
International Karate Championships
Devangee Rana of Std VI B won GOLD medal and Vaibhavi Rana of Std IX D won SILVER medal in International Karate Championships held in Nepal. They were also awarded trophies and black belt for successfully completing DAN-3 exam.
Open Baroda Major Ranking Table Tennis Tournament – 2024
Krishna M Patel OF STD 7th B secured First Position in the Cadet Under 13 & Second Position Under 15 Girls Single Events in the 1st Open Baroda Major Ranking Table Tennis Tournament – 2024 organised by the Table Tennis Association of Baroda held at TTAB - MSU ,Table Tennis center, from 28th to 30th June 2024. She was awarded aTrophy,Certificate & Cash Prize.
UCMAS - Gujarat State Level Competition
Dhiya Samip Bhaduwala of Std 7 A was awarded the 5th runnerup trophy in Gujarat State Level Competition of ucmas organised by Dr Snehal Karia.
Handwriting - Std.: I and II : 19.07.2024
Skill of writing is a very important part of education. A good writing helps students to attain higher level of academic achievement. The handwriting competition is an attempt by the school to see that students develop a legible handwriting.
Memory Master Competition - Std.: III and IV : 19.07.2024
Mind games help in learning new things and to keep the memory sharp. As an effort to achieve this, memory master competition was organized. Where the students were shown 20 objects, then students had to recall and write the name of the objects shown in the given time.
Yoga Day - 21.06.2024
Shri J R Shah Bright School celebrated the International Yoga Day on 21st June 2024, Friday with great zest. A special morning assembly instilled the importance of Physical fitness and Mental alertness among students.emphasised the importance of Yoga in promoting physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. Various yoga postures and asanas including pranayama and meditation were performed. The celebration concluded with Zumba dance adding enthusiasm to the celebration. Teachers and children actively participated in the celebration.
Founder Bright Group of Schools
3rd July an important day in the school calendar, a day to pay tribute to Sir, Shri Jayendrabhai Shah the founder of The Bright Group of Schools. . It was a day to honour a visoionary who dedicated his life to the quest of education and to provide a strong value-oriented education based on the principles. A programme was arranged to express gratitude and value the legacy, to rededicate ourselves to the principles and values that the school stands on.
Students Union Election : 1.07.2024
Annual School Election is a great opportunity for students to exercise student’s rights. Students were nominated for the positions of Head Boy, Head girl and School Captain on the basis of discipline, academics and conduct so that they can be role models to their fellow schoolmates. Canvassing for the above post and Electronic Voting took place through Secret Ballot in which approximately 1300students of class V- VIII voted. Nishira Mishra of Std VIII B as School Captain, Manya Shah of VIII A as Head Girl and Harshit Patel of VIII A as Head Boy were elected. Tejasvi Pandey of VIII C and Haripriya Dalwadi of VIII B were selected as the Sports and Science Leaders respectively.
Investiture Ceremony : 12.07.2024
Investiture Ceremony was held in the school. The event was presided over by the Chairman Dr. Simit Shah and Directress Madam Swara Shah, Principal Primary Sec Madam Rita Kantharia, Principal Secondary Sec. Madam Nina Shukla were also present. It was conducted with the high degree of sincerity and enthusiasm. The Investiture ceremony denotes the trust and confidence we repose in newly invested student leaders for their involvement in day today functioning of the school. Students were all excited to don the mantle of leadership and discharge the responsibilities entrusted upon them by the school. The newly elected members received their badges & took the pledge to abide by the school’s motto.
Guru Purnima : 21.07.2024
Guru Purnima, the festival dedicated to spiritual and academic teachers was celebrated in our school on the 21st July 2023, Saturday to honour and express gratitude for their dedication. Teachers enlightened the students on the significance of Guru Purnima and relevance of this day through informative assembly. The students wished their teachers and took their blessings
‘Talk on Discipline’: 28-.06.2024
‘Discipline is the foundation upon which all success is built’
A talk was arranged for students of standard I and II to encourage the students to cultivate discipline to follow school rules such as being punctual and to enhance their learning capabilities. Stress the pivotal role of discipline in a student’s life.
