School Opening Day
"Back to School, Back to Success!"
The new academic session 2026–27 at Shri J.R. Shah Bright School commenced with great enthusiasm and positivity. Students of Std. II to VIII returned to school on 8th June 2026, while Std. I students began their new journey on 9th June 2026. The campus was filled with excitement, cheerful smiles, and renewed energy as students reunited with their teachers and friends after the summer vacation.
The students were warmly welcomed by Principal Ms. Rita Kantharia, the Supervisors, Class Teachers, and the Non-Teaching Staff, who greeted them with smiles and encouraging words, making them feel comfortable and excited for the new academic year.
A special morning assembly marked the beginning of the session, inspiring students to embrace new opportunities, set meaningful goals, and uphold the values of discipline, responsibility, and excellence. Teachers conducted engaging classroom activities and interactive sessions to help students reconnect with their classmates and settle comfortably into their new classes.
The vibrant atmosphere across the school reflected the joy of learning, friendship, and new beginnings. With the inspiring theme, "Back to School, Back to Success!", the academic year began on a positive note, motivating every student to learn with confidence, explore new possibilities, and strive for excellence throughout the year.
Badminton Championship
Reyansh Pandya of Std. V-A was got third prize in Badminton Championship organised by 'Yonex Sunrise'.
24th International Karate JEET- KUNE-DO Championship
Manomay Datar of VIII-C Won Gold in KATA and Silver in KUMITE in 24th International Karate JEET- KUNE-DO Championship, Andheri Mumbai.
Yoga Day Celebration
"Yoga for Healthy Ageing"
Shri J.R. Shah Bright School celebrated the 12th International Day of Yoga with great enthusiasm on 21st June 2026. The celebration was organised under the global theme 'Yoga for Healthy Ageing,' emphasizing the importance of yoga in promoting lifelong physical, mental, and emotional well-being. The programme began with an introduction highlighting the significance of International Yoga Day and the benefits of incorporating yoga into daily life. Students, teachers, and staff enthusiastically participated in a guided yoga session, performing various asanas, pranayama, and meditation with discipline and dedication.
The session focused on improving flexibility, concentration, inner peace, and overall fitness while encouraging students to adopt yoga as a healthy lifestyle habit. Teachers also explained how regular yoga practice helps reduce stress, improve posture, enhance immunity, and contribute to healthy ageing. The celebration concluded with a pledge to practise yoga regularly and spread awareness about its numerous benefits among family and friends. The event inspired students to embrace yoga as a lifelong practice for a healthier, happier, and more balanced life.
Founder's Day Celebration
"A Will Will Find A Way."
Shri J. R. Shah Bright School celebrated Founder's Day on on 3rd July, Friday with great respect and gratitude to honour the birth anniversary of its visionary founder, Late Sir Shri Jayendrabhai Shah. The occasion was a heartfelt tribute to his remarkable contribution to education and his enduring legacy of Inspiring generations of learners.
The celebration began with a special morning assembly. Floral tributes to the founder were offered by the Chairman, Sir Shri Smitbhai Shah, and the Directress, Ms. Swara Shah, as a mark of deep respect and gratitude. A tree plantation ceremony was also conducted, symbolising the founder's vision of nurturing knowledge, growth, and a greener future. Inspirational speeches, prayers, and presentations reflected on Sir's vision of providing quality education while nurturing discipline, integrity, compassion, and excellence.
Investiture Ceremony
The ceremony concluded on an inspiring note, reinforcing the importance of leadership, discipline, teamwork, and service. The newly elected council members pledged to uphold the values of the school and perform their responsibilities with dedication and integrity throughout the academic year.
