Vasant Rajab Elocution Competition
An Elocution Competition was organised by Akhil Bharatiya Seva Dal in the memory of two martyrs Vasant and Rajab. It's a matter of great pride that Ms Mahek Vinod Kalwani (IX B) of our unit received 4th prize. She illustrated the shortcomings of the present education system.
Kala Utsav at QDC Level

- Prem Sangtani received the first prize in poetry writing.
- Yatri Suvas Patel received the third prize in drawing competition.
Patriotic Song Competition
A competition of the patriotic songs was organised in the school. The participants were given the practice and guidance by Mr Suketu Shah. The programme was compered by Yashvi Sanghvi and Yashvi Pahilwani under the guidance of Ms Payal Desai. On the stage Mr Suketu Shah played Keyboard, Master Aarav Choksi accompanied Tabla and Ms Yashvi Solanki played Guitar. Mr Manoj Joshi and Mr Piyush Parmar judged the performance. The First winner was: Devam Rajpurohit (IX A), the Second was Rudra Patel (X D) and the Third was Malav Patel (X-C).
The Chairman Dr. Simit Shah attended the programme and motivated the performers. The prizes were given away by him for the Elocution and Mehdi Competition held last month. The prizes for the patriotic songs were given by the judges. Different sectional heads remained present and appreciated the programme.
Ganesh Chaturthi
Like every year, the Ganesh Sthapna was done in the school. Lord Ganesha was kept in the 'palkhi ' and welcomed. The Chairman Dr Simit Shah, directoress Ms Shairvi Bhayani and Ms Swara Shah remained present on this occasion. In the secondary and higher secondary section, the students recited the shlokas to get blessings from the ' vighnaharta ' ( remover of obstacles ). The boards were prepared by the students as a part of the celebration.
Teachers Day Celebration
The Teacher's Day was celebrated in the school with pomp and enthusiasm. The students were given the task of teaching. Like a regular teacher they planned their lessons and taught various subjects allotted to them. They got a chance to look into the life of a teacher.
Many students prepared greeting cards. These hand-made cards were given to the teachers. Even the boards were also prepared by the students to express their gratitude towards the teachers. The teaching and non - teaching staff remembered the founder Mr. Jayendra Shah who was an ideal teacher and a role model for many members of the staff.
Tiranga Yatra
The Government of Gujarat organised the Tiranga Yatra. The students of our school participated. The sole purpose of this activity was to cultivate patriotic spirits in them. The rally began from Navlakhi Ground and got over at Gandhinagar Gruh. The students shouted the slogans like 'Vande Mataram' and 'Bharatmata kiJay'.
Rakhi Making
This traditional festival reveals the affections between a brother and sister. An activity of Rakhi making was organised in the school to develop the art and the family values. The students were instructed to bring the materials, use their aesthetic sense and prepare 'rakhis'. They did this activity wholeheartedly and enjoyed it.
Best Out of Waste
This activity was conducted today. The sole purpose of this activity was to develop the observation skills among the students to find out the utility of even the wasted objects. The students used their aesthetic sense and transformed the least useful objects into an artistic piece.
